Sorry, what? First of all, some money could be saved by sending direct to International backers. Secondly you are charging a fairly high price just for the normal deck which is being done by EPCC, acknowledged as a lower-cost alternative to USPCC. I think you should be very careful with statements like this before alienating your target audience. I've still not pledged for the deck and even less likely to now (I wasn't able to get on any of the Early Birds or Delirium Birds and it's now obvious that some people have duplicates so it's no wonder).

Getting progressively less enthused for this deck. The signature decks don't seem appealing at all. I'm planning on dropping my early bird brick tomorrow - if someone wants let me know.

Yes I know it's within the rules but still.. you do realize that the whole point of having Delirium Birds was to help out the UC community as a whole, especially for those of us who missed out on EBs. Not really the coolest thing in the world to have done.

Giovanni: if you were going to follow a guideline on how to make a signature edition right, follow Lotrek's Grotesque and Venexiana Dark projects. Consider the fact that if such signature deck were to be displayed as you've initially proposed, it would be virtually indistinguishable between the standard edition. Certificates and seals hardly feel worthy (I for one could live without them to be honest) specially with the $100 price tag. You want to be able to say: "holy crap I paid X amount and it was worth every penny! Just look at that baby!" and not "here's the certificate to prove it".

Not to mention that Lotrek's was $60 vs your $100. Youch.
Instead of having to ship everything back and forth, maybe you can make a different tuck, have EPCC print them and you sign a bunch of belly bands that you can ship to them to wrap around the deck or something. Or just make a different tuck with crazy amount of bells and whistles to justify the price.

Eoghann: It's $100 for a set of two decks, plus the third deck if we reach that stretch goal, so $50 each, or $33.33 if we reach the stretch goal. It can become a good deal, if the signature decks offered more than just the signature.

I think I'm going to make a different tuckbox - I have some ideas in mind but need to figure out some things to be sure I can do it.

I'm also think that is probably a good idea start with a single signature deck (based on Prism, but of course with a different Tuck Box) and eventually add some "signature" Insomnia later.

I do appreciate the offer but sadly I don't want a brick. Hopefully some else here does.

Instead of the bottom of the deck (which cannot be seen most of the time when it is being displayed), maybe a signature sleeve similar to those used for the Seasons, Independence, and Golden Spike? This makes the signature removable, so some might not like this, but it allows the signature to be more displayed. I know there is also the alternative to simply sign on the very front of the tuck, but I just like signature sleeves cuz they look nice and the ink won't accidentally scratch off like it does when directly on the cello. Maybe the deck can have a special numbered seal and then the sleeve can have the matching number.

I REALLY liked how Emmanuel handled his Clipped Wings signatures - there was a question on the survey of A) sign on cellophane or B) sign directly on tuckbox (cellophane removed). I suppose you could also add location options if needed. I always open my decks so have to ask and hope they will sign on the tuck directly. The signed bands might be a good option, especially to make shipping costs easier, but that just seems like an after thought to me. I suppose another option is to mail out specially signed seals they can apply themselves.

I will not be getting the special edition though, just a pair is enough for me. Almost always that is and as stated I also open my decks. With that in mind I would just add having a custom tuck would be ideal if I were to jump in on this. Some good points there.

@ecNate: I am oriented to make a custom tuckbox with signature space on the back, so I think I will sign directly the tuckbox (Like the Venexiana signature Edition).

The signed bands might be a good option to avoid shipping fees, I'll keep it as an alternative.

The queen of clubs is the Innocent Princess. She loves nature and flowers, and she don't eat meat or eggs. She's pretty, and sad, because there is no charming prince in Delirium's World.

The queen of diamonds is the Cruel Duchess. She's ugly and rich, and uses flower based make-up to look better. Wears an expensive kimono and loves put in chains men.

I write them at 2,30 AM, after daytime work and the night spent on the deck. And yes, I'm crazy even "normal" :/

The Limited Edition will come soon, sorry - is take much time than expected.

Hi guys,

here is a preview of the new Signature Edition. I listened you, and I decided to make something really special this time.
Everything you see here is not 100% finished, and as always, I am open to make changes before it will go live.

Let's start with the design

It's a new custom white tuckbox, ready to be numbered and signed on the back. There is a crazy feature I want to add: I want make the green part with the character inside like a bubble, with a special soft resin. I am not 100% sure I can do it and if the effect will be as I have imagined it. But it's a signature edition and I'll risk.
If something will go wrong, I will find another way to custom it with something unique.

Also, the limited will be improved by extras, based on the level of the backer.

The "backer level" is calculated as following:

+1 if UC member (so everyone is reading starts from here)
+1 if have at least a pledge for 4 decks
+1 if have at least a pledge for a brick

The extras are:

For level 0
Only signature edition (like above)

For Level 1
Signature Edition + Delirium Book (wip)

For Level 2
Signature Edition + Delirium Book + A special commemorative card printed only for limited edition

For Level 3
Signature Edition + Delirium Book + A special commemorative card printed only for limited edition + another UNIQUE commemorative card. The backer can choose the base court (KoH, Joh and so on) and eventually add a name/word. Yes, means I'll customize 50 different courts, chosen by you, and I'll put your card into your deck. When you will recieve your card, you'll be free to keep it as a secret, or show it to the world. Up to you. This reward is of course limited ONLY to UC members.

Other info:

- I will print only 60 decks and only 50 will be for sale.

- 15 Signatures will be pre-sold on this thread before I'll announce on Kickstarter. (exclusive for Uc members, of course)

- The price will be 50$, shipping included.

- You need to have a pledge for a deck or more to get the limited edition

- If the feedbacks are positive, I may start to collect preorders here and announce to other backers this week end.

Thank you for asking, that's an important point!

When we'll unlock Insomnia, I will unlock its signature edition also. It will work exactly like the Prism Signature (of course with different tuck box and cards).
It will cost +50$, like the Prism. I am thinking to do not limit/force people to get both "Signature Editions" together, but maybe I'll give priority to people who already have the first signature to upgrade their pledge before others. I assume that maybe one signature is okay for someone, but maybe someone else wants both.

Yeah. It means that I may have +50 new cards to customize I am not that sure I want this unlocked lol

On the previous edition I was planning to give a free signed "Mystery" if it will be unlocked for every backer who pledged for both signatures - and this still valid

To everyone is pleding for Signature: Remember when I send the survey at the end of campaign to specify you have a Prism Signature, your username on uc for the extra level, and, if you have a brick, wich court(s) and eventually the name/word you want printed on the card.

I'm telling this because there are username here on UC different from Kickstarter and different from real names --- and I don't want make mistakes!
