I managed to snag one. This will be my first older deck from Jackson, my first decks from him being the Christmas Deck and Tigers.

FYI Jackson said you can email Nick if new subscribers are interested in adding gilded subscriptions and/or ordering past KWS decks - limited supply of both, though, so no promises

Thanks for the heads-up! Nick added me promptly after I emailed him. This was a really fruitful month when it comes to my card collecting addiction.

Congrats masagin303 in picking up a subscription. If you are willing to take a risk and just get some fun and interesting decks, it is a great program. When Jackson started this idea, he obviously thought it might work, but was still uncertain. He was really thinking first to just have it small and use some of the smaller printers for small runs. However, the first set of subscriptions sold in a flash. I missed the first wave, but just barely managed to snag a subscription on his second (and last) sale for the initial subscriptions. I think the second sale lasted all of like six seconds. You can also pick up display decks for $12 each. I think there might even be some gilded subscriptions available if you want them. With the expanded 350 subscriptions, the gilded and the display deck sales, he can more safely print with the major printers (USPCC, Cartamundi and EPCC), which often have 1000 minimum runs (probably more like 1100 minimum runs). This lets the subscription decks get a nice premium quality. Unfortunately for Jackson, I am sure that also means a longer lead time to get the decks printed and prepared.
With the larger number of subscriptions, people are sure to drop off, which gives opportunity for others to join. I imagine though as we go along, we will settle into a solid group of regular backers, so good to get in now as the subscriptions settle out.

Nope, not yet. Seems that it's not automatically connected with buying the subscription and that it's waiting for some manual setting on KWP side.

I just got my first customs charge in a while. I bought the 10 deck May Moving Sale plus an Equinox II standard and got stitched £20 plus £8 handling by customs … ouch!
Obviously can't be helped and it's not the biggest package I've received so just bad luck I guess.

I have to manually input each new subscribers email into my system to give them access to the "Member's Only Area" I just finished doing so and all the new subscribers should now have access to the Member's Only Page. You will need to make sure you use the same email that you used when purchasing your subscription. Once you get to the website you need to login to your account and then when you click on the Members Only link you should gain access.
If you do not have an account yet on the website you can create one by going to the following url.
https://kingswildproject.com/account/register
If you do all the above and are still not able to gain access, shoot Nick or I and email and we will get it resolved. Please don't message me via the UC as I don't check my messages here very often.

Out of curiosity did payment for that customs charge come in the form of cash on delivery?

Yeah, it was some kid in a hoodie. Come to think of it, he was holding a knife, too …[emoji848]

Seriously though, I got a "There's a fee to pay" card from the Post Office with the matching item number from the Kings Wild email – I log into their website, pay via PayPal and it gets delivered on Monday hopefully.

In case of Czech rep. (EU) our national post service handles customs for us. They just email you a digital form where you declare that the package is for your personal use only and you have to send some proofs of purchase (I just send order screenshot and it always suffice). The post service then delivers the package to me and I pay them any additional VAT and customs if applicable.

I see, I got a message saying I need to pick up a package but I have to pay cash on delivery and was wondering what that was all about

Another area where we're spoiled in the US... if I'm reading the CBP website right, there are no customs fees for imports/orders under $800
I've sent gifts to European friends and they've had to pay fees - it's crazy to me

Using the Bradius method of adding a ton of decks to the cart, I can see that there are 64 decks available

I mean how many did it start with. Also what's the difference between the premium one and the standard?

About 100 pcs listed afaik. Differences explained for example in TGW's video here:

I was seriously thinking about adding them. The price is GREAT, but I got a lot of the Olive Tally-Ho decks during kickstarter. I have spent enough this week anyway. If you don't have several of the Olive Tally-Ho decks, they really are well designed. At that price, you shouldn't feel bad cracking one or two open to see the light of day. Nothing like a great USPCC decks to make your fingers happy and impress on poker night.

It is kind of weird, that the normal Olive Tally-Ho Limited Edition is still priced $24 US. The overrun, which I guess is not different from the normal Premium edition (the pictures are identical), is priced $12 US.

The cards are the same, but the LE has a seal ###/700.

Jackson was talking about an art book featuring art from all his decks on Instagram today

JR if you happen to see this please be careful about printer quality! I've backed several books on KS and the quality is more often than not... pretty bad

And I worry that to do your art justice, the price would need to be $100 for starters
.....I'd still buy it though
(>$1K Thornwillow edition?

)

What KS publishing projects have you backed? I've had pretty good luck with final product quality myself.
