Pagan has had the biggest opening day - $30K, followed by Hotcakes - $27K.

What's fun is to see the slow ramp of their first deck - only $1200 first day.:

They were half-way through the campaign before reaching their $9K funding goal.
How times change!

Thanks for the info! I back so many decks I lose track of how past decks have performed on KS. When I first saw Uusi's Blue Blood deck, I didn't pledge because I didn't like the back design or the tuck box. But when they started rolling out pictures of their court cards, I knew there was something special going on and easily overcame my dislike of the back design. Uusi has come a long way and I enjoyed the journey watching them grow. I truly hope that after they complete their 6 deck series, they take a little break from designing playing cards and then come back with another series.

Man, how they will be missed when deck 6 clock runs out. Many of us will shed a tear (or three)...

I actually thought Hotcakes was their 6th but I guess both Blue Bloods count as one.

This is the first Uusi KS that I've had the opportunity to take part in. My experience has been a short one with them but I will still miss them if the never again do another deck.

I have a lot of non-cardist non-collector friends I play cards with, and I'll bust out various custom decks on poker nights, and some times many custom decks don't even get noticed. Thin borders? They couldn't care less. Gold metallic inks? No one notices. Blinged out tuck boxes? Who's looking at the tuck box when you're trying to slow play a full house? But when I bring out an Uusi deck, everyone takes notice and always comments about how beautiful the court cards are. You really need to get your hands on Uusi's previous decks as well while you can.

And, if they make it another six-deck series, then that will make a full brick of different Uusi decks!
(or, a "Baker's brick", if you count Blue Blood Redux!)

It will already be a brick - 5 projects with two decks each and two separate Blue Bloods :)

And I only have three of them so far: :(

Uusi_BlueBlood
Uusi_Bohemia_LimitedEdition
Uusi_RoyalOptik_LimitedEdition

...but I think that my pledge on the Pagan KS Project for the Diptych print also includes

Uusi_Pagan_Cream
Uusi_Pagan_Dark

Which will still only make Five out of the Twelve. :(

And, funds permitting, I hope to pledge on the Hotcakes KS Project at a level which will bring me

Uusi_Hotcakes_OneColor
Uusi_Hotcakes_TheOtherColor

which will make barely more than half of Uusi's decks. :( :( :( :( :(

Thanks for cheering me up, Joe.

It's 12 total, only 1 original BB & 1 BB Redux. There are a few subtle variations and the gilt Pagans, so I count 15. It may be 16, though. Two are just (well almost) as rare as the gilt decks and they only sold one during the campaign, but the other is available gilt as well. $125 on their website. I've been known to be wrong before.

There were at least 4 variants for Bohemia. Blue backs with seal on tuck (only 80 exist) , 238 Limited Edition Red (non-linen tuck)/seals, 238 Limited Edition Red (non-linen tuck)/ without seals, 476 Blue Edition Decks (non-linen tuck)/ without seals. This is in addition to the regular printed Blue and LE Red.

Robert, you're not the only one behind here. I WAS content that I had one of each, having recently purchased an original BlueBlood on eBay. I knew that Bohemia had a variation or two, but not four. I'm not chasing them down, and I'll be quite happy to put all 12 decks in my Pagan brick box when Peter finishes it. Now, what to do with my gilded deck... :D

Went in for first Bluebloods, Bohemia never yanked my chain, picked up with Redux and Pagan and now neck deep in Hotcakes. One thing I've come to appreciate about UUSI is that they're always ahead of the curve and deliver like Rosco. This pair rocks!

Three tears.

One for ourselves. One for the collection. And one for backup.

Ok, changed my $40 pledge to a brick and a pair with modesty sleeves.*

I'm wondering if someone could help me out; if you have a tree that grows money ... would you be willing to spare some seeds? Thanks.

* get it? ;)**

** sorry! I'll go home now

Well, when you get down to basics, there are 8 main decks now, 2 Hotcakes makes 10 and 2 of whatever is next makes 12... Blue Blood, two Bohemia, two Royal Optics, BB Redux, two Pagan, 2 Hotcakes and 2 as yet unknown makes an even dozen or brick. My two gilt decks are going in the Redwood swivel dual box due in 3 weeks, according according to Linnea's hand written note on my invoice. Gilt decks are still being made, so MIGHT come with it, but I am not counting on it. I would love to show it off with the two gilt Pagans light & dark. I think I already noted that those decks will not be sealed in cellophane - can't be.

LOL - no, Donna, as I've noted before. I was telling Robert (Lancaster) to talk to my wife if he had questions or problems. She'll straighten him out! :ugthink:

(besides, if her name were Roberta - I wouldn't have put the comma in there)

Thanks, Wayne! I guess that's a good pointer for everyone that wants one but 'missed': during the campaign and especially during the last week and even more especially the last few days/hours people 'abandon' those claims they staked out during the first few days and most of them sit on them for 28-29 days only to "jump ship" and leave a couple of those 'magic' tiers open, even for the best decks and makers. Take a look at "Sherlock Holmes" decks - several of the tiers that were sold out from day 1 of the campaign were abandoned on day 30, so if you're patient (and fast), you can OFTEN pick up those 'impossible' tiers you missed if you've got the time to check out that campaign early and often - especially when the clock is running down to zero...

Not sure if everyone has seen the deck with the modesty sleeve and vellum paper, this is what the seal looks like, and this is what made me jump for a pair

Close: two split bricks, both uncuts and four Yellow edge decks... I have my calendar from Pagan and two-deck swivel wooden case + uncuts and two split bricks from Pagan as well.
