Mine is also sitting at the post office waiting for me to retrieve them. Nice bricks, come with Mikey...

My shipping notice said I was receiving "Dunnage, 1" what's that?

"Dunnage" is inexpensive material used to insure proper delivery of something else, as in lots of bubble wrap or perhaps you have an uncut sheet coming, maybe?

I got a banged up corner too. I'm thinking cardboard boxes would be a better choice next time in lieu of padded envelopes.

Interesting: I thought Lake Michigan Mailers used cardboard boxes for even 4 decks or more? PT, was yours only 2 decks, maybe?

I received 7 decks last week. Also in a padded plastic mail envelope, with bubble wrap. Also multiple dinged corners.
Very disappointing to say the least. Sub-standard packaging for sure. These decks deserved better.

That's odd. I'll ask Bob (@LMM) to comment. I thought ALL shipments over 13 ounces went "Priority", must not be.
I guess I was lucky, but I had two bricks arrive in a "large flat rate" box (Priority Mail) along with an art book, coin and postcard, so I expected better all-around.

My 5 decks plus an art book also arrived bundled in bubble wrap inside an envelope (I do believe it was a priority envelope though, just not a priority box)
I had a small ding on one First Edition and something else minor on a Grail Edition (not really sure what to call it)

Well, not to sure how much good my tracking info will be. It shows "delivered" to Kalamazoo, two days before shipping info received. Problem is, I don't live in Kalamazoo. And once tracking shows "delivered" it won't track anything after that. Hmmm

Yes, it was Priority Mail, just not in a box. And as others have mentioned, got my shipping notice after the cards had been delivered too.

Same for me - when I got it, I looked it up, and it showed it had already been delivered - and was waiting at the post office for me to pick it up.

so. sick. of. waiting.
It's depressing almost now to see all you getting yours and each day looking into a mailbox void of Origins package. Carry on.

I still haven't received my 2 deck order for the Seven Seas playing cards if that makes you feel better. I know they're no where close to being in the same league though.
My order of 7 decks was sent in a padded envelope inside another padded envelope. Packaging inception I guess. Uncut sheet was sent in a large rectangular box (still rolled up) instead of the regular tube mailer and the art print was probably the best packaged item. Wrapped in tissue paper, sandwiched between two pieces of cardboard and then taped to a very large hard cardboard document mailer.

No "Seven Seas" here, either, although I suspect it is nearby.

Mike, I got 6 decks (3 origins and 3 grails). They were bubblewrapped and came in a tyvek padded envelope. The envelope did not look especially banged up, so not sure what happened. Bummer.
Oh, and no Seven Seas yet for me either.

In the Look At What I Added To My Collection thread, I posted my 6 decks plus Seven Seas decks.
I also got my email confirmation after I got the decks in a Priority envelope which none were banged up.

Well, Origins arrived today! I almost passed out when I got the box from the post office.
Seems something leaked onto the box at some point. Not LMM's fault, and actually all the bubble wrap kept out whatever liquid it was. One of the Grails took a few good licks, but only the ad and gaff cards were affected.
Oddly, one of the Firsts in the unopened brick got a nice corner ding, as well.
Overall, I must say they are pretty great. The metallic ink really pops, the backs have a lot of detail, and the embossing and foil on the tucks is just incredible. Great job, Rick! I hope you have something else on the drawing board

Got mine, just one of each, they are SO gorgeous. I'll have to stop buying cards now because clearly these are my favorite cards forever. Well, maybe I'll stop. Well, maybe not.

just looked odd to me when i first looked at it that the gaff king has part of the queen of hearts' headress floating next to his head... (it isn't in the image of the card from the KS page..) but the more i look at it it just looks like the art for the gaff was simply cut on the diagonal.. so it's probably supposed to be there.

I see, it's on both the king and queen. The queen has part of the kings beard.

Indeed, I don't think it was intentional, more likely rick just didn't spot it, not a deal breaker as this is only a gaff card.

How can it have been UNintentional? He must have made the gaff himself, right?
I'm a little disappointed, but as it's only a gaff it doesn't really matter to me.

Hey guys, just caught the feedback, thanks again. Maddest I was shocked looking at that box, what are they doing?? Less than zero care taken. Will have a chat with the shipping co and sort it out.
Notes on the gaff, yes the art is intentional. It is designed for use as below, so the Kings beard and the Queens crown must appear in each corner. The blend is just crafted to make it as easy to use as possible.
Working through a lot of shipping detail but thanks again for the comments.

Rick, yeah, the box was pretty rough, but not LMM's fault. Something leaked on it in-transit. The box was still wet when it got here, but the bubble wrap kept whatever it was out, so the decks were dry. One dinged grail, and one dinged first, so those got opened. All is well

Just received ours - Congrats on the amazing foil work and fantastic art - I think we're a divided house, Sara's for the limited edition with the pearl white paper and I'm more for the Blue & Gold
