The sliced/whole thing was a leftover from the site's template which supposedly was for a delicatessen shop. I fixed it but if you want I can still send your deck sliced. Just tell me how thin you want the slices to be.

Knowing collectors, that could only prove to make the deck even more valuable. That's hilarious. Thank you for the clarification, Lotrek!

I'd like them sliced as thin as 1 card please, so I can handle them well and play with them. Thank you! :ucstar:

Lotrek - I have a suggestion here. Why don’t you mince or julienne a deck of NOCs, cover it with Greek stamps and send it over to the heathens expressing their culinary preferences. [emoji12] I will then very happily take the surviving Fables off your hands. [emoji849]

This is the most Lotrek thing I’ve ever heard!

Glad the site’s template wasn’t from an escort service, else the deck options might have been blonde, busty and bi-curious

For those waiting on their bank loan to buy a Fable deck, there are still 97 left in inventory according to his website. I wouldn't count on them being around like they did for Sanctus. However, I am grateful they didn't vanish in a flash. But that also represents about 6,700 Euros in completed inventory that have been unsold. Let's mop up that inventory.

Yeah, they are pulled now. Not sure what happened, but I am sure there is a story in there somewhere. I can't believe that nearly a fourth was sitting out there and then someone picked them all up. If someone did, then there is some serious speculation going on. Perhaps they need to be raised to the higher price and easier to pull them and then reset with the higher price? Maybe on the lunch menu?

I'm pretty sure there is nothing to speculate on. This was in the email Lotrek sent when he announced to preorder.

"Preorder period: 48 hours. After that the decks will become available again on the 10th of July at the retail price ($90)."

Last few go on sale on Wednesday for fulfillment over the weekend. HOPEFULLY the Greek postman can talk to his Australian counterpart (bypassing the Gestapotato) and I'll have these in my collection by the end of the month!!

Being from Moresby, I'm not entirely sure how familiar you are with the Australian political landscape, but you might be aware of the political stylings of Peter Dutton? It's my (and others) somewhat withering nickname for him. No sense of irony about it.

For anyone not from Oceania and wondering who this guy is, he's Australia's "Secretary for Homeland Security" (to use the American vernacular), who's pretty much omniscient and got some pretty reprehensible hardline ideas on immigration policy et al.

I am so, so sorry, but I'm going to have to befoul the forum with a picture....

10028814-3x2-700x467.jpg (28.07 KiB) Viewed 2755 times

Full disclosure: he was my local congressman when I was at university and I have to concede he was great in that capacity, but he's a drug and child exploitation cop who took stress leave and goosestepped his way to one of the most dangerous positions in the country.

Now, before I get banned, I know I've digressed. I will get the discussion back to cards with my next post. Once again, my most profuse apologies.

You have “ Gestapotato” and I have “Mr. Goodhair” (our former governor of Texas and now Secretary of Energy - that would be one of three cabinet positions he was going to close when he was running for President, but couldn’t name during a debate. Hopefully he knows it’s name now.)

Being an Australian, I sometimes wish I wasn't familiar at all, it was bad enough watching from a distance in 2016 but now that we've experienced the same and the poison is firmly here on our own shores, well, it's a scary time where evil and ignorance have taken and continue to seek power, enough said.

Anyway, I don't expect mine to arrive before the end of the month but I'll be happy if it does! I recently grouped all my Lotrek decks together and the pile doesn't look big enough  it's been rightly mentioned recently that Lotrek fills will bankrupt you so I have to grow it the old fashioned way one at a time, I still regret passing on the Venexiana Dark campaign back in the day because I thought it was too similar to the original I already had... sigh
