Thanks guys!
Glad to hear you're happy, do share as much as you can as it will really help with the next campaign
Remember that Cartamundi are no longer offering this stock, with Slimline being the new standard. So I'd keep a couple of decks to one side, sealed if I were you

I think a number of folks are picking up a brick of The Parlor decks, so should be good for awhile. Still, I am hopeful they will find a new source for thicker stock.

I just received my pledge a couple days ago. The deck are amazing, this one will be a contestant in this year's DotY for sure.
Just a quite note to Jocu: you should add bubble wrap to the decks inside the "Jocu packaging box", one of the decks I received had some samll dents that could have been easily avoided if you just added a layer of bubble wrap. Not a big deal as I intended to open the deck, and so I did, but for those tuckists collectors this can be a huge problem. Just have this in mind for the time you start shipping the Green Man.

I'm sorry that this happened - could you PM me a pic? We packed each box differently but in a way that the decks shouldn't have been able to move and added a type of paper based bubble protection where necessary. Dented decks are unacceptable though so if you can send me a pic I'll make sure this doesn't happen in future and we can chat about maybe getting a replacement if it's significant on the tuck.
The boxes are designed to have padding inside once closed (the flaps acting as extra) but send me a pic anyway and I'll see what went wrong.
Thank you for the kind feedback on the deck
(Incidentally you should see how we receive them from the printers, 144 decks loose in a box )

No need for replacemnet or anything else, just wanted to make sure that you are aware that shipping decks inside a box with no extra protection can result in some damage to the decks. The decks weren't tight enough inside the box, which in turn resulted in them moving around and because of that one of the decks had some small dents in 2 or 3 corner, but nothing that would make this deck unacceptable for me.

Got mine yesterday. Packaging was well. Everything was fine.
And while I appreciate and am grateful for every extra effort and tiny gesture, I want to mention, since I know you are thinking about ecological footprint and stuff, I don't need extra printed packaging paper and I don't need pins. It feels always a bit odd for me saying this because, and I don't wanna sound ungrateful but in a greater perspective they only waste resources and don't really add a surplus to me personally. I just want the cards and the extras I ordered, the well made product and smooth campaign managment is appreciation towards the customer enough, at least for me. I don't need extra attention or pampering. Just my two cents.
Thank you for the awesome decks. You are in great company the only B9 decks I own, are now The House of the Rising Spades Cartomancer and Fillide. The bling on that tuck is crazy btw .
Btw, the drawing comes in a seperate tube, I guess?

Hey mate! Glad everything arrived safe and that you liked the decks
Regarding packaging itβs Just the same as using regular packing only with our branding on it - it actually costs the same as buying unbranded from a supplier. The difference is we got to make a choice to source biodegradable and recyclable rather than use plastic.
But when you order it the customisation costs nothing as itβs certainly cheaper than buying non-custom alternatives in smaller quantities from say, amazon.
So it was definitely better than using loads of plastic
Thanks again for your support for both projects!

Jocu, is it normal that I don't seem to find gold metallic ink on the Terra back design? I tried to capture it on photo here:
Video added:
The Acqua deck is evident that it has silver metallic ink on the back, but the Terra gold touch seems to just be yellow. I don't have a problem if there isn't because the design is just to pretty, but just thinking that there should've been?

Hey!
Yeah it is metallic Pantone (Ale knows the exact one) and it perhaps isn't as shiny as expected. I think in future we'd choose a brighter shade.
It could be to do with the back brown colour itself muting it a little, or possibly the fineness of the linework. I always struggle to see gold inks popping as well as silver. The printer recommended a lighter shade of silver to pop better against the green, and it may be the case that a lighter shade of the gold would've given a brighter shine.

That's true, thanks for the explanation, especially since it's gold on brown, the brown probably sucked the contrast right outta there. Still beautiful af!

If you don't have the deck, The Card Guy has put up a really comprehensive review that shows all the cards, tucks and details shared in the booklet. It's really nice!

Awesome! I'm sure we'll revisit Sicily for a future deck.
Walking through Sicilian towns and seeing groups of elderly men playing cards in the street, in the piazzas or outside bars for the whole afternoon as the sun goes down is one of the memories from there that'll stay with me forever.

Thanks for sharing!
We'll be sharing more information in the coming days and weeks.
But FIllide is now all but sold out, this will be a version 2 of sorts with improvements over the original, new card stock, improved design and so on. These tucks are part of an edition that will be just for the Inner Circle.
Stay tuned for more in the future

Thanks for putting dope decks out there. If my Lego addiction wouldn't have a tight grip on me currently, then I definitely would have more Jocu decks.

Those look great. Hoping that the "average Joe" tucks look as good. If not, I might have to think about becoming a member... I don't usually like to commit to those things (I only signed up for one year of KWP Table Players since the 808 Club [best subscription yet IMHO]) but Jocu is killing it.

That is yummy. Like a lot of yummy.
Is it bad that I kind of expect that level of tuck boxes from Jocu though ?
