The creator actually replied in the comment section that he will send extra cards afterwards. Not a good fix but still a fix...
As a backer I'm not very happy about this happening but if I open the deck I have the missing card to use, if I do not open the deck who knows there's bug in it lol
What I concern more is that I still not getting my tracking number....

I know he did but I disagree that this is an acceptable solution. It also wasn't entirely clear if that was only for already sent decks or for all decks.
You haven't received tracking because he paused shipping whilst printing the missing cards. Again, wasn't super clear on that part.

No response here and silent on KS comments and DMs despite logging in to KS within last few days. Starting to be concerning.

Very disappointing. I suspect that the backers that did not get decks in the first round, albeit most of them messed up, will not be getting anything. It seems the mix up was very significant, he has not found a way to fulfill pledges without losing money, and therefore he is not going to do anything to make it right. It appears that the mistakes should have been caught when he received the proofs.

I'm not inclined to automatically assume he's going to give up on fulfillment. I'm adopting a wait and see attitude at the moment.Too early to jump to conclusions.
Right? Right?

Agree that it is early, just warning signs at this moment, but they are definitely there.

+1. The lack of communication is very concerning. Maybe he is out of town for work or vacation.

Except he logged into KS on the 18th and made no replies.

This is only his 2nd deck. I believe he took on more than he should by releasing the 2nd and 3rd decks at the same time along with other addons. An error of this magnitude can be overwhelming to a KS rookie to handle the logistics and inserting the missing cards.
Let's see how he handles it and if he makes good on all the decks.

Sad to say this is really not looking good. He has not posted an update or responded to any PMs or comments in about a month, but has logged in at least twice since then, once on the 18th and once on the28th of November.
Has not been on here since 22nd October but certainly was very active when trying to get funded for his KS.
I really hope I’m wrong but I’ve seen these warning signs before (Natalia Silva anyone?) and it really is looking like it won’t have a good result.

Finally heard back via PM on KS. He now says he has no money. Doesn't look good for this to get done at all.

This is a real shame. I got the two decks I pledged for this campaign, but I have not opened them. The deck error is one thing, but it's really too bad that a promising new creator has screwed the pooch on this.

Haven't received any of the three decks.
He got money from 252 people ffs, wth happened with it?

This would be my first KS project I backed that I did not get the reward. Very disappointing as it was very promising and his engagement in UC was nice. Do I just chalk it up as lost money or can I dispute it with CC company. Curious what others have done that have experienced this.

Doesn't hurt to dispute but probably has been too long since funded. Depends on your CC company.

I did receive all 3 decks, so I don’t think it was a scam. However, it does appear to have been poorly managed and/or too much for the number of people involved. Regardless, I wish it had gone better for everyone (backers and creator) as I really like the triptych aspect and the art.

Did he give any indication of how he plans to proceed, or if he was giving up, or what?

Nothing else whatsoever. The fact that he didn't post an update is probably not a good sign though.

I'd gladly take the screwed up decks over not getting anything. His KS career is finished, that's for sure.

Don't be Natalia Silva 2.0! You can still order 200 decks at Cartamundi with replacement cards (digitally printed). If decks are in the US, ask Gamblers Warehouse to pack decks again or send replacement cards separately. You will end up with trash decks after Kickstarter and will not be able to sell them. But it's business.
p.s. I don't know what I would have done in this situation. But first of all, you HAVE TO provide a plan to your backers.

Both decks, v2 and v3, are available at triponmagic. I wonder if they are fixed decks?

Oooh! If decks are making their way into backers hands, that's really good news!
I'll be opening mine, because I want to see this laid out with the grand illustration!

I couldn't resist and I bought a deck of each from Triponmagic even though I backed the KS campaign. I was curious if they have been fixed. I opened them both and they are both defective. Oh well, so much for him fixing them.

Well. I hoped I was wrong with "have to" words in my last comment. But it's not funny as both decks are available on Murphy's Magic. It's now a question if they sell the same defective version here:

What the ….? I saw PCD selling V2 and V3 as their new arrivals. Does that mean he's actually fulfilling the KS orders? Where would Will get those decks otherwise?

I got my v2 and v3 close to 2 months ago. Haven’t opened them but pretty sure they’re the error decks
