Mike, I see that you got two of the "Card Tricks" decks - with the gay-themed courts:
The Jacks are men in stereotypically gay professions (waiter, hairdresser, florist and I forget the fourth).
The Queens are
drag queens.
The Kings are "rough trade" (a mechanic, a biker, a cop and I forget the fourth.
The Jokers are, I think, stereotypically straight tourist-types, perhaps the kind who come to gawk at the openly gay guys.
It is one of the decks I had displayed on my old web site:
http://web.archive.org/web/200411251051 ... c/deck.htm
Notice that you might have to drag the slider beneath each card as they are displayed in a frame at upper-right.

Mike, care to share a link to where you found the Card Trick decks?
My googling isn't coming-up with anything close...

I think they both came of eBay, frankly. I don't remember. I'll do my reconciliation of my account tomorrow and if that's not right I'll let you know.

FYI, I was contacted a few years ago by a friend of the man who had created the deck.
The friend said that the creator of the deck was looking to have another edition of the deck printed, but I don't know if that ever happened or not.

Bicycle All Wheel Back No.2 Playing Cards
I don't see these mentioned anywhere on UnitedCardists, and I wasn't aware of them until recently when I spotted them on Ebay and Amazon, but I'm hoping someone here knows their history.
I've learned online that they were released in early May 2012, but I can't find any information on who actually created them in their print run of 2500.
Being standard Air-Finish Bicycle Playing Cards from the USPCC, they handle beautifully; and I really like the look of the back design.
So I'm wondering why these aren't mentioned much on the card collecting sites...

Will, I believe that they were issued by USPCC, AND THE BACK DESIGN IS ONE THEY ORIGINALLY USED BACK A HUNDRED YEARS OR MORE AGO.
Sorry for "shouting" there...

Will we have had a few threads on this deck in the past i would have to dig them up if I can. These decks are readily available and there is also a black label verison of which they only made 250. There are a few on ebay for cheap still
BMPokerworld had this deck on their blog originally when it came out and we had many forum users selling this deck cheap in the sell section as low as $3 a deck but we probably did not have a separate thread for this deck

Wow! Neat box! Is there enough wiggle room to pull the cards out?

Yup, you can't tell from the angle, but there's enough space on top and sides to easily pull them out.

If only I could. But the technology to transport mega brick hasn't been invented yet.

Miserable long work day today, but here are a couple of new toys.
A couple of vintage Enardoe decks one double backer, one marked stripper deck. Both look new, one is, the other is 60's but mint (blue deck):
- "Enardoe" is "E.O.Drane" spelled backwards...
- Enardoe_E_O_Drane_decks.jpg (119.67 KiB) Viewed 1327 times
Also,3 pairs of Bicycle branded decks, Lance's Gorgoyles, Be@rbrick & Templer Knights:
A deck of 65 airplane identification cards made for the Navy training center in the 60's.

This week was a good week! Sherlock Holmes and his friends showed up, got a pile of Bee's, a couple Stud's and a few decks of gilded Ramblers via eBay. Requiem was a big surprise, though, as it only took about 5 days to get here. And my Elite Gold decks finally got here, after about 1 1/2 months of floating around the postal system. The best thing I can say about those is that the aluminum ace is MUCH thicker than the Evolution ace. Still an odd size though.

Looks like something that could be added to the Knowledge Base section, Mike
Sure does! I moved it here: Kemâ„¢ deck dating: 1935?, 1947? Bakelite?
Damn, damn, damn!!

I just missed out on two eBay listings I
REALLY wanted!!
I bookmarked them yesterday, but could not do a "Buy it Now" on either of them because I won't have money until Wednesday.
I checked them out this morning, figuring that I would just go ahead and "Buy it Now", just hold off on paying for them until Wednesday, but THEY WERE BOTH ALREADY SOLD!!!
ETA:
Something's rotten here. One of the items, which was available just two days ago, is now marked as sold - AS OF JANUARY 7TH!!
I first saw it on a search just two days ago, and I had NOT speciified "show sold/ended listings", so it was NOT marked as sold two days ago. After I first saw it, I messaged the seller about it. the next day, it was marked as sold.
Something is VERY rotten here.

Nice deck, Wayne! I seem to have given a few of you the vintage/antique deck bug.
Now - quit buying "my" darned decks, you and Pete!

@Mike..
LOL... can't let you corner the market! My tastes have slowly been changing. There is a lot I have that I think I am going to let go of soon. I keep saying I am going to be more selective...but.. I really mean this time... really...

That's what they all say, Wayne!
Well I checked my mailbox at 3pm yesterday and found nothing. Curious. When I went out to get lunch, ice & snacks I found a little package I was wondering what happened to.
I have danced around these two for ages, and finally found the quality and price I wanted for both in one place. Never say never... If you see something on eBay that you want even if there is no "Make an Offer" option, make an offer!
Two elusive decks for $125 - one USPCC Army & Navy 303 (Hochman US5e) and one National "Ramblers" (NU7b) both in next to mint condition. Between the two they were listed for Buy it Now prices of $300. Both are 1895-1905.
I'll fix the pix in a minute... It happened to me the other day, too. Don't know what to do on a smartphone, but my laptop Firefox wants <Ctrl>F5 to flush the cache and force a reload. (and boy! I can take some crappy pix - let's try these two instead of the grainy one)

@ Mike R.
I forgot to ask it a bit ago, but how are the Kraken Rum playing cards? I've been indecisive on those and just curious how the actual cards. They look like a fun deck for a poker night.

Don't know, I got them to add to the stack for 2 decks a night at the 52+J convention late night poker & blackjack. We'll see, but until then mine are sealed. I don't usually open contemporary decks unless I have a brick. Vintage & antique decks are almost always open. Now, when you find a 180 year old sealed deck - that IS a find!
Has anyone else pealed back the cellophane? I suppose I should open them and see...
OK, initial impression - obviously USPCC without Magic Finish without looking - right out of the box they are a little stuff. I will mess around for a while and use them for a week to get the stiff out of them, and report back.
Interesting deck:

I guess Matt's putting out the Plugged Nickel again using a different company than USPCC. If it's on KS again, I'll re pledge.

Matt was trying out a new printer, giving a couple of us a prototype as a judge of quality, i guess enough of us said it wasnt up to par, he will be exploring other companies and not ruling out uspcc, so i wouldnt say its out of the question

I liked both of his designs but the Wanted Poster better. I don't see why it didn't get funded, I like the colors of the deck though people were complaining about the barbed wire, etc. It's not too many Western/Cowboy themes I can think of that are current.

heheh - I figured it would be a popular number with everyone here - don't know how the "old gaurd" will see it. Don't care, really. We're going to take over the place anyway.
Donna & I rented one of the large suites on the second floor right on top of the convention area, so we'll have plenty of room!
Now, back to our regularly scheduled topic...

Today was a big day - again...
Let's see. MailChimp - nice! They sent me a couple of decks to show off:
And you can see the chimp in the middle of the tuck and custom seal.
Next, something that I wasn't sure about, but turned out to be a Dundorf (Frankfurt Germany) deck of mini cards, appears to be 100 years old - with 75-80% of the original gold edges intsct:
I put a Tally Ho Split Spades blue back next to it to judge scale / size.
