I received a Deutsche Post tracking number as well. I *was* a Year 1 Patron, so fingers crossed that's (at least part of) this shipment.

I’m a Year 2- onwards Patron and I got a Deutsche Post notification too.
Presume this is my Blue Prism, Redemption VIII and (hopefully) Silk Rule gift deck

Lotrek said he's shipping blue prisms with year 1 stuff, so it's possible he's just shipping everything at once which includes year 1 stuff for people who were subbed, and blue prism and other stuff that is already printed and assembled for everyone who isn't year 1.

I am not a current patron, but I was for years 1 and 2. No email yet, so I wonder if it is indeed Year 1 goodies or something else like Mystery Crafts.
Did you "order" your patreon rewards? I'm asking, because I almost missed that you have to do that.
I did place the order for year 1. I have to wonder how many year 1 supporters didn't see the email about "ordering" and will miss out, perhaps...

I was a Year 1 and year 2 Patreon member and we do not get the emails or updates from Lotrek. The only reason I knew to "order" my Year 1 decks was bc Kevork let me know about it. I went ahead and did it but never got a confirm or anything. Crossing my fingers that the decks arrive somehow. No shipping info for me yet. I am in the U.S.

If you PM me your email I can drop him a DM on patreon

(Or, perhaps just like a fossil might - how would I know…).

It seems to me that it would take very little for Lotrek to inform people exactly what is being sent

I should have known better.
Looks like it's just Redemption VIII / Mystery Craft & Oath Prism decks shipping.
Yr1 Rewards delayed until September
Might need some convincing to continue with Yr5

We all could've easily predicted this. Seems a lot of the issues regarding who ordered what and who is owed what could be solved with basic levels of organization and a simple Excel spreadsheet. That being said, I'm so much less bothered seeing the recent upturn in communication. Love that. My actual worry is moreso Deutsche vs Hellenic post. Sure Hellenic may have its issues, but they also have a track record of getting me my orders. Deutsche is 0 for 1. Makes sense to me that he would test it out. God forbid Yr 1 rewards disappear because of some substandard postal system, that might be the nail in the coffin for this Patreon.

Very true and same for me. What is the solution for those of us that had their packages lost?

I do understand the issue with shipping and the complexity of doing it as a small team, especially as he explained it. However, this was a year supposedly dedicated to catching up and we are still waiting to get year 1 shipped out, maybe treading water? I am kinda thinking he might want to take a page from what Jocu is doing and pause for a year to get things caught up. Anyway, I am still on for the ride if he wants to plow forward.

Hellenic Post had a great track record with my decks so I'm nervous of this change given my white Patrons decks from Deutsche Post never got to me. To this day, Lotrek hasn't received information on where those 20 lost packages are. I understand he'll be sending us replacement decks in this latest shipment, but with random numbers.
I knew shipping all these decks would be a gargantuan task, but it's a bad time to test a new shipping partner with so many decks on the line.
I am curious why Lotrek didn't write an email AND public patron post for Year 1, as people like pablo who are no longer patrons had no idea of the procedure. I told him what to do based on the private Patreon update.

This doesn't affect me at all, but I find the timing of it all rather curious. The issues he's describing would have been immediately clear, so why did he wait until he left on a month long vacation to let everyone know? Also, didn't he just come back from a long vacation? Even if everything had been ready to go, did he really think he'd be able to do it all in 3 days? Just bizarre to me.

It's a real shame that things are so disorganised. This is something that Lorenzo has down; clear communication, great organization and quality product. I think in part because he doesn't try to do too much.
It really shouldn't be up to Patrons to tell him if they are year one or what their number is or whatever, good organisation (or help) would have all this info already. We shall if he continues to get support or it starts to show in reduced orders/revenue (if that even matters, might be less is enough to keep things going).
If I'm not wrong, it's renewal time this coming month. Decision to be made to keep going or not.

He should put a Year 5 on hold until he gets caught up. I do not want to continue supporting him until I get Year 1 thru Year 4 but if he fulfills then I would be willing to support a Year 5.

I'm seriously considering cancelling.
Yes, Yr 4 ends September with Yr5 beginning 1st October.
My biggest concern is whether he will ever actually catch up - It could easily be another 2-3 years before we receive the yr3-4 decks.
I knew what I was getting into when I signed up but I'm just not sure the value is there any longer.
Whilst the Redemption series has been a nice treat, there's nothing in the Yr1 package that I'm particularly looking forward to now as I already own existing versions of these decks (Patron Test Print, White Patrons, Redemption Decks I, II & VI)
At least the official Patrons deck is the Black Patrons deck.
Yrs 2 & 3 are also turning out to be similar with foiled versions of Golden Rule & Sanctissimus.
As much as I love Lotrek's foiled decks I already own a version of these and as a Patron was expecting something a little more exclusive as per his Patreon description:
"A super rare gem for your collection which will be developed and finalized during the year."
As I've said before he certainly doesn't have an issue designing and producing non-foiled decks, so why can't these be Patreon exclusive decks?
Since his Patreon launched in October 20 we've had:
- Chronos Carmina (JP Games Exclusive)
Moresque (Players, Patreon & Gilded)
Royal Silk (Purple)
Royal Silk (Sand, Teal & Frost)
Patrons
Icons Anniversary
Maestro III
Golden Rule
Oath Standard (Red, Blue, Silver)
Sanctissimus
Oath Experimental
White Patron
Mystery III
Oath Blue Prism
There's probably more that I've forgotten but easily enough decks here to fulfil Yrs 1 & 2, a lot of which we have had to pay extra for in addition to our monthly Patreon fee.
If Lotrek switched to a model similar to Gio and just had 1 foiled deck as a bonus for those who stick with him through the year, dare I say it, he might be able to ship out rewards in a timely manner.
Anyway, rant over.
Would love to here your pro's & cons for continuing with Yr 5

I only subscribed to 2 playing card Patreons. I always though having a Patreon number is useless. I like having decks numbered but not being assigned one, not caring about having a low number or all the decks in a series being the same number. It creates more confusion.
If things were created on time, people wouldn't have forgot their number or decks they were getting.

I don't think these will ship out in September. Ultimately I think he's going to reprint the custom box. Not sure how he keeps missing those little details. My guess is these will end up shipping out in October-November.

If we regard Patreon promises as set in stone (not bonuses)
Has this become a ponzi scheme? Is there still patreon Yr.1 money (banked) to fund these rewards or are they being funded by more recent receipts?

I see what you mean by "I knew what I was getting into", but it is no longer true imho. We all know that Lotrek is famous for delays, but nobody could've expected that he won't be able to ship 1st year rewards for 4 years. Four years on golden tier is more than 2200 usd, that's quite a lot of money...

This kinda reminds me of parents sitting in my restaurant, getting punched by their kids in the face and then politely and calmly ask their kids if they please could consider stopping or at least re-evaluting that behaviour...
I guess I'm not stoic enough to understand that.
But it makes sense; Lotrék is Greek, stoics were Greek, ...
