One of the additional cards with the Blue-backed deck is a double-backed card on which one side is a sort of orangish-colored version of the Apocalyptica back (it's the second from the right on the above grid, between the blue back and the tuck).

That's probably because if you put hotcakes in a box, they get all steamy/soggy.

Heheh, actually it's because Pete's still working on some of the boxes they sold for Pagan and wanted a breather. He promised there will be some for the 6th deck in the series.

They just broke $20,000 in under 200 minutes, not bad! That's 2/3rd funded - they set $30,000 as the goal.

I'd say I got a visit from the post today, but instead a letter. After some google translate, and my neighbor, turns out my purchase via eBay (from Taiwan) didn't have a customs form, nor an invoice. So, I had to go to the local customs office. On a positive note, it's just down the street from the Porsche Museum (WIN). So, long story short, finally got a few decks I have been waiting for, and I didn't even have to pay customs

I dont know how frowned upon it is to plug another member/store, but those White Monarchs (Yes, White, not Silver) were courtesy of a contest I won from Richie's Card store. So then I ordered the rest to make the shipping worth his time.

Got my Oracles in today. Another homerun by Chris Ovdiyenko. Seriously, I think they're better than the Calaveras deck and that was one of my favorite decks of last year. No lightning bolts or smell of sulphur after opening mine though, and i was surprised at how low a number I received.

My Oracle deck and Old Masters deck arrived on the weekend, and today a couple more packages showed up! Nat Iwata's Steampunk Pirates and Jackson's Sherlock Holmes decks!

Drooling over those Oracle decks as well as the Grimoire. At this rate I will have sold a kidney before the year is out....

Ok, I'm going to split today's haul IP. I got 3 packages from Greece today.

The first one is G2 Classified, second is Pit Hartley, obliviously, third one IHNI. Maybe Lotrek can decide the Greek from the box, almost certain that the word in the middle is Greek for "Monopoly", but I'm not betting a penny on it.

There's also a pair of the first of four distinct versions of Jacob's Bible decks, I put these mid 60's.

(and again, my not-so-smartphone has turned pictures upside-down. Don't crane your neck too much, buddy!)

Part of five dual deck mint sets I bought off eBay for $13.95. I keep hinting for everyone to look for bad listings, but I will keep snagging them myself. No clue what the flirt two pix are, it's Hallmark zbut appears to be Hoyle. Second is Piatnik "Mayfsir", and the others I will post tomorrow because it's 1am and I need some sleep. (4 deck set of Piatnik Tudor Rose and a vintage pair of Congress decks in a leather case, one silver gilt, one gold.

My point is that I paid an average of $1.40 per deck for mint mostly vintage decks.
