It's not too late to do a 2019 deck however that depends on whether or not he's got one designed and ready to go and who he's planning to use. I would suggest using USPC or Cartamundi for much better quality and avoiding OPC, based on what i've been hearing about the quality, and if they want the decks finished this year sometime. If everything is done right and something launches really soon it should be delivered this fall or winter at the latest. Many projects on KS fund and deliver within 3 or 4 months if not less, no reason it should take 6 months or a year to get a deck produced and delivered.

There's a continuity error on the tuck box design on the Aurum deck. Both back designs have a band that runs horizontally across the middle of the tuck backs in their respective green or red colors. Each box has a side that is black (on the right side of the Viridi deck and the left side of the Aurum deck). The horizontal band wraps around to the fronts of the tuck box and ends at the black De Novo logo in the fronts of the box. The horizontal band should also wrap around to meet part of the way around to the black side of the box, but this only happens on the Viridi deck. On the Aurum deck, the band is cut off on the back of the box and doesn't wrap around part of the way to the black side like it does on the Viridi deck. This is very apparent when you put the backs of the tucks together and look at the black sides of both boxes together, and you'll easily see the missing red band on the Aurum deck.

I know this is a nit but the error is on the viridi tuck if you look at the campaign pictures. There should not have been that green band going around to the side of the tuck. The aurum tuck is per the pics. In any case, they are different but I had not noticed until Sinjin pointed it out... Good eye

I gotta say I am loving these decks by RD. I opted for the standard versions but they are really something special. Hard to capture the shine just right, but there is some serious bling on these beautiful tuck cases. The cards are stunning and I am so happy to add these to my collection!

I've got annual decks from the last 3 years (Thirdway, Bona Fide and Edgy Bros) I'm not sure how much further back it goes. The first I found at a swap meet and it was reasonably priced, so grabbed a couple, the other 2 I got in on the KS campaigns. As I did with De Novo.

Considering the names of the last three decks, I kinda want the next one to be named something like "Throwback" or "Old-Fashioned"....

I am a pessimist. But this is not my first ro-deo. I know how long it takes to do one of these things from scratch and I'd be *shocked* if I had a 2019 UC deck in my hands by Dec. 31st (if it is attempted and arrives later than that then sadly I think 2 late decks in a row would be a huge embarrassment and even worse if it weren't created in the first place). But I really do hope I am proven wrong.

Mine arrived this morning. A small amount of damage (corners slightly crushed, nothing a couple of heavy books won't fix) to the signed art card.

I agree with you, but I want to be realistic and obviously not set that in stone since we don't have an artist committed - yet.

Odd thing is that I hadn't thought about it before now. I named "Avant-garde" myself after working with both of the Edgerly brothers early in the design process.

I added artist names to the list above.

We are trying to put together the next set in the series, but Lance Miller decided not to do them and Jackson is unresponsive - so far. Randy Butterfield has already agreed to do the 10th set in three years, but is unable to put together a rescue for this year, I already asked. For those of you who are relatively new, Lance started the Kickstarter playing cards thingy with his "Activators" black and white then 'artist edition' Steampunk decks (all in 2011, believe it or not!).

Lorenzo is still penciled in for next year (8th) but we have not worked out the details, I don't want to intrude right now, he's kinda busy.

Preliminary 9th set might be Seasons PCC (Alexander Chin), but only discussing it so far - no commitment.

Now, please feel free to encourage Alex, but please don't bother Lorenzo. I feel sure that we will work that out in the near future.

If anyone has ideas, please let me know - soon! Being realistic (and having done all of this myself pretty much - scheduling, I am NOT an artist), I think early 2020 is realistic and possible for delivery, and / but it would be the 8th Annual Decks regardless.
