Come on guys, its 30 sets, they could give it away and it wouldnt be wrong. Its a different story if they were touting this as $30 for the next 1500 sets.

All I can say is WOW...........
We've stuck to our premise of fair since we came up with the project, we decided on two decks and went with two actual decks, not a tuck swap. We gave backers a complete deck, foiled and embossed from the starting gun, no stretch goals to get a better deck. We answered every question, we got every reward out in a week, and replaced the 4 damaged Items to date right away.
We offered forums a 15% "Good Will" discount, no limit or item limitation, we've donated our product as prizes. We even did some "Favors" for some on this very site that missed out.
Now PCF has an award, we win 3 of them and are truly grateful and want to do something to show our appreciation, maybe for those forum goers who knew nothing of Aquila, or those who just couldn't back the project when it launched.
So we've been selling the box set for $60 since it's gone to aftermarket, haven't swayed from that. Some of our wholesalers are selling it for less, oh well, what are you gonna do. So instead of just keeping with our current price and reaping the profits from it, we decide to pull 30 sets from a stock that is under 100 as a good gesture and we get to read this.
I know it's a cynical world, but I'm just speechless

There were only a couple people that thought you were doing evil.
Around here, it's complaining about shipping prices being too high, now card prices are too low because people had to pay the asking price during Kickstarter, taking too long between projects etc. Just the UnitedCardists version of politics.
Keep on keeping on.

Ya, I know, I read the entire thing before posting...........It's still disappointing hearing it even from one person when you think your doing something positive. But hey, as it's been said a million times, you can't please everyone.

Well said and you can add me to the list of people who see nothing wrong with the sale. There is a BIG difference between 30 sets as a thank you and flogging hundreds on ebay with no consideration. Your campaign and fulfillment were flawless and I couldn't be happier with my signed LE set. To me it is a work of art worth far more than the $40 I paid for it.
Keep in mind I do not begrudge anyone their opinion. This is just mine. As always YMMV.

As I said, it's a business decision. More and more KS runners are doing such things. Because it's rarely practical to me to purchase only 1 or 2 decks, it actually will mostly benefit me when prices come down post KS as I will likely also save on shipping by buying other products at the same time. Was really more observation and initial feelings for me more than anything else.
In general my feeling is positive or at least neutral, just that I'm more likely to buy post-KS than before and each person that makes such a decision makes KS a less viable platform. I do think that's bad because then fewer project get funded and we get to see fewer decks.
2014 was a fantastic year for decks in general and that was mostly thanks to KS. Given a lack of alternatives, I'd like to see it continue.

Yeah, I think this just provided the spark to discuss the general concept of lower prices post KickStarter than specifically what you guys were doing. Carry on.

Man, y'all are harsh! Standard procedure is to sell decks to resellers and wholesalers. Do you think they pay full price? Not even possible, they couldn't make any money.
This was a BENEFIT designed to provide 30 units at a discount out of unsold inventory.

Good points and I agree when it's designers selling huge amounts on ebay and such, but 30 sets as a "thank you" hardly fits that bill. Most. if not all, will go to forum members anyway, some of which paid full price during the campaign. What better "thank you"? If I had the cash I would pick up a second set to open.

Morning all, there seems to be an issue with the checkout on the Storenvy site, we're looking into it and hope to have it resolved ASAP.
We are so sorry for the inconvenience, but support for the site is not available over the weekend. Do to issues with the checkout, the Storenvy Shop is currently closed until we can correct the issues.

Storenvy as a whole has suffered some sort of issue. timing could not have been any worse. Once we know everything is functioning we'll reschedule the sale and move forward.
For those who were trying this morning, we apologize for the inconvenience.

Ya tdubben, I'm 99% sure your order did not go through. But once everything is back up we'll double check, no orders were appearing on the back end. Apparently this is an overall Storenvy issues being experienced by all vendors using the site.

It seems everything is back up and running on the Storenvy site, once again we appreciate your patience and understanding. We were planning a Valentine's Day sale on the 14th, so to avoid having our customers pay shipping twice, we're launching both sales on the same day. For 24 Hours get great saving on Aquila Box Sets and Standard Edition Decks! Sale inventory is limited so don't miss out!

For those who might want a rare signed deck... Be there this coming Saturday
Aquila was a collaboration from different points of the world, Indonesia, Taiwan, Australia and the USA. Getting a deck featuring the signatures of both Kardify Project members and designer was no small task, But here they are!
We've put together 10 hand signed Aquila decks featuring signatures of designer Ade Suryana of 3 of Clubs and the members of Kardify Projects, Ivan Choe and Anthony Ingrassia.
These decks have traveled the world to obtain the signatures and are truly a unique collectable. Only 15 signed decks exist, 5 belong to the team members and the other 10 are here for our supporters.

I tried to take advantage of the boxed set offer on the 7th when the store website didn't work and then I missed the retry on the 12th. Oh well, I don't seek autographed decks. Good luck to those who do!
