The custom carat case for the six deck set is up for sale on the Seasons website now. Only 80 available for public sale.

I got the shipping notice on June 10 and haven't heard any updates since, are there any UK folks experiencing the same?
Same here. I can track it in the Royal Mail app but all it tells me is that it’s “on its way to Royal Mail” as of June 10.
Got one of my orders today in Scotland. Expecting the other tomorrow by looks of the tracking status.

I cannot seem to find this. Do you have a link for it?

The main site home page header has a direct link. The case will accommodate the unique measurements of the boxes. It was designed so that when framed with the two pale non-gilded decks on either end, the gilding windows act as a centerpiece feature. (Fun fact this set didn't have holes designed in them until Sherman asked me to make these cases and when I was playing around with it I added that feature so you can thank Sherman for them lol).
I've actually had these for a while but given the luck I've had I wanted to verify in person that these would fit the decks before selling them. I only just got my shipment of NPCCD decks from GW yesterday but they fit and look sharp so up on the site they go!
aznh wrote: Sat Jun 19, 2021 6:14 am almost like telling your kids that their xmas present you order in october didnt arrive on time and you get it some 7months later
I totally get it. This is the only year of NPCCD that hasn't been in person and thus had to be treated like a Kickstarter. Every other year NPCCD had physical decks for immediate delivery.
We live in a world built for immediacy from conglomerates that can handle that. Getting something months later with those kind of expectations are bound to get disappointment. Being a one man show means sometimes not reaching those expectations (especially when there are things that occur outside my control) and while I'll always try, I have limitations. I wish I could bat 1000 and deliver stellar decks with 2 hour free shipping to your door at target pricing, but in reality I can only give my best. As a customer you also have the absolute pick of the litter out there in this large market to choose who best matches your expectations. Card collecting should be fun. Match with who best works with your style and enjoy it otherwise you'll burn out. Life is too short, this past year has taught us that.

Amen to that Alex. And thanks to you, it still is. The decks are wonderful.

So ... for reasons I'm not able to divulge, I'm probably going to be the last person on the planet to get this deck set. Got an email from Alex apologising for the delay but he's only -- just now -- put it in the mail. Super excited to get my paws on these ... eventually.

Received my 6 deck set today. These are gorgeous. The design change to add the “viewing holes” to the coloured gilding takes these to another level aesthetically. It just works so well. What a great surprise!

Seems like I'm in the minority with disliking the glory holes... 😬😅.
Gives them a cheap vibe to me. Imagine your Bugatti coming with a peek hole in the door or wind shield, just to be able to appreciate the fine interior without sitting in your car 🤷🏿‍♀️.

I also would have wished for 6 different temple scene designs on the tuck boxes. I know, this would up the price of the set but yah, I'd be willing to take that over having 6 artwise identical decks. Ironic that recolours get flack but sets which basically contain just of recolours get praise. Not saying that there is something wrong with different colours - variety is awesome - but having temple scenes that go with the individual theme (dissent, hope, ...) of the according deck would just make this set a 11/10.
And yes I said 11/10 because despite my dislike (almost disgust) for the glory holes the awesome court art and overall great design helps me to get past my feelings there.
This was the first NPCCD set I picked up in full due to the awesome artwork and not being able to determine a clear favorite, haha. Thank you Alex for bringing these to us.

If you wanna do car metaphors, this deck is like a Ferrari and the holes are the glass on the hood that show you the engine. :)

And I don't wanna be that guy, but "someone who" should only be used when asking a question where you expect the answer to be "yes". "Somebody that" is otherwise perfectly acceptable.

I'd love to, but that is technically an mp4 video rather than a gif file, which doesn't work with our {img} tags  And we don't have {video} tags, if such a thing exists.

I'm glad that someone got that right. Never apologise for speaking (writing) Texan. I am sure there are some Texans that have great grammar (like my sister), but not in my case. Since I don't have a Ferrari, I am not too possessive about them (especially one that looks pink). Now, my playing cards are a totally different game. Those are MINE.

My set arrived in the mail today. They are absolutely amazing, and well worth the wait! If anyone wants evidence that collecting playing cards can be about collecting art, just show them these decks.

Alexander Chin is a legendary designer, and #1 in my book when it comes to creativity and innovation.

Congratulations and thank you Alex for another outstanding series! Bravo.
