Yeah I know it's got nothing to do with you and but it's getting harder and harder to back US-based campaigns. I *really* ware goant one of those Dunedain sets, but shipping costs gonna crucify me. Please don't take this the wrong way, but 3 decks of yours (on the main) aren't worth $500.

It looks like the Dunedain tier will end up being $30 shipping to Aus, not 100% sure yet but that is what Jake (my shipping guy just told me)
Oh joy..... *sarcasm*
PLEASE NO Offset drama... I don't want that USPCC ruin more great designed playing cards
You should write them a strongly worded letter. Here is their mailing address:
300 Gap Way
Erlanger, Kentucky 41018 USA
I wish I can do that, but I lived on the other side of the world. The only best thing I can do is to keep on tagging them on IG for every offset decks they done.
I just HATE to see great works be ruined by the offset drama, I'm sure most people here would agree. But until now, the problem still persists and we just lived with it - waiting for them to completely resolve it within years.
Seriously, it's fine you choose USPCC because it's close with you, I am still in for this deck - just keep on reciting prayers they do their job properly
You can't send a letter to the US? Seems indeed like an impossible task.
Jackson just told you he'll replace misaligned decks and always did in the past so there is nothing to worry .

Example: Do you think Lotrek would give me the name and number of his card printer?
Lotrek deals with a bunch of vendors, paper, ink, foils, (plate makers?), paper cutters, etc. to make his cards. No one company unless you want to call it OPCC. They do have delay issues though.

Huh, I actually expected a larger number than that. $30 in shipping for a $240 tier doesn't seem toooooo bad to me. Granted I don't live in Australia.
US$30 is not unreasonable. I too was expecting a slightly larger number. It’s going to be a question of “Is Jackson taking a small break between decks 1 and 2; and then 2 and 3?” cos I’m entering my ‘quiet time’ at work and coming up with $700+ more (by the time it all washes out) ain’t gonna be easy.
FYI Jackson recently said he will likely not be releasing the One Ring Edition with the old style courts during this campaign. The art is not close to done (maybe around 40% iirc) and he needs to catch up with his subscription decks. He will be producing them in the future though, so no worries.
I've spent way more than I care to admit on playing cards, but I'll still buy just about anything that Lorenzo, Jackson, or Gio make.

Was this something he said recently? I thought it was waiting for approval and would be released halfway through the campaign.

He mentioned it in his most recent YouTube livestream and also on Discord. He just doesn't want to take even more time away from his sub decks right now. They will likely be released later this year.

Thanks for the information. That's good to know. This is the "archaic" one right? With the maps in the background?

The version in the KS has maps in the background. The One Ring Edition that is not a part of the KS is the original two-way gold design. I don't know if there are maps in that one or not.

Lel... while watching the trailer the pledge amount just doubled. Campaign feels somewhat dry but that is a welcome change to mega campaigns with ten decks plus five generic goodies in the campaign.
I'm still contemplating about getting this deck; the other version is just so much better (I swear it's the last time I mention this, haha) but ultimatively this is still a great deck for a fair price. Glad I have thirty days for that descision.
From the KS FAQ
I have heard talk of a second deck that has different art and gold foiling, will that deck also be available during the Kickstarter?
Yes, I have illustrated and designed a completely different and unique deck that features the same character lists but with different art and gold foiling. There is a possibility that the deck will be available during this Kickstarter. However, the art is not 100% complete like The Fellowship Edition, and the approval process with Middle-earth Enterprises and The Tolkien Estate is complicated. If the second deck, which is called “The One Ring Edition” is not released during this Kickstarter, it will most likely be released after the Kickstarter, directly on our website.

So could still appear as part of the KS.
Jackson wrote this FAQ a while back, so don't expect it during the KS. But who knows. Anything could happen.

Well. For one thing I am encouraged to see that there are more than 1100+ backers currently. That’s a good sign for the market after a bunch Of lower backer count campaigns.

Man, that's a pretty big bummer. That version was my main draw for this campaign. That also likely means we won't see a Kickstarter discount on the cards either. So a gilded version, if one is even made now, would be a lot more.

From JR on Discord last night:
Jackson Robinson wrote:there is no list of stretch goals at the moment. I am offering everthing I have finished, created, and have approved from the Tokien estate out of the gate. Consider what you see, what you are gonna get. Not during this project, but I will release that deck, be sure of it, later this year.
Fok 30 days of contemplation! I'm in for a Samwise. I like it being a neat campaign and the deck is priced right. I gotta put my money were my loud mouth is.
