VXD wrote: Fri Oct 30, 2020 11:50 pm Ok, I have a bet for anyone that wants to take (bring on our worst enemy here lol). Here it is....in either 2022 or in 2023, we will get the award for best innovation.
id be willing to take that bet

so by December 2023, ur going to post a independent 3rd party review displaying you won best innovation for/with playing cards or something else?

and let’s be honest, it can’t be some award “you create” because you believe ur cards are the next best thing since sliced bread

still to this day your highly ambitious goal is to get ur cards into the vegas casinos how’s that coming along

nothing is more entertaining then watching people call out / predict what they’re going to win prior to actually winning it

but you failed to mention what the 5 winner will win in January 2024

so in return for the winners id like to see u in front of a camera with a sign that reads “OK, so I was wrong and I shouldnt make ridiculous bets on UC without knowing how ridiculous I sound prior to making them”

sound good? if so count me in
This reminds me that I already have an ongoing bet with VXD with stock take around 2025 I think.

Had a couple beers too many I guess (don't remember posting re that bet). Clearly I was having a laugh though. Not to be taken too seriously. Anyway.....first glimpses of Frozen and London here. More to follow soon (after full updates on the KS campaigns)....

I just received the silver and gold edition London Diffractor decks that we could add on recently. I am still waiting on my other decks from Kickstarter as they include the metal cases, which are delayed.

I do like the new design over the previous two. This is especially true of the backs of the decks. The large area of holographic film on the back center oval finally gives a solid view of the film and a new level of sparkle if you will, over anything else I have seen so far. Lance did a solid job with the design. However, I really hope that we can see something other than essentially standard courts in future versions. Especially if Lotrek takes the helm for designing the next deck. Overall, I think it was a solid improvement and I think the holographic film here is better than anything else I have seen so far.

Hi all

It's been a while. I hope you are all well.

Thanks for the comments / reviews (above). We are always looking for improvements and each edition we make strides. We're also now 100% independent of any of the usual playing card factories. Cartamundi were not involve in any way, contrary to the original KS description and some Ad Copy out there which was copied from that. So we're now fully set-up with our own processes for every step. A lot of work arranging and coordinating, but it is coming together. Setting the stage to compete as our own manufacturer, but still some work to do there too. This is just the cards & tucks I'm talking about....the metal cases are still an absolute nightmare in general (countless hours of sleep lost)....they are now done and all singing, all dancing for this edition (currently shipping from China)...but the issues we have constantly with every factory that takes them on is just crazy. Seriously considering phasing them out entirely, but that would be a real shame. Let's see.

Anyway, thought I'd post some nice shots we got recently from a professional photoshoot (dark room + one direct bright light ;) ) of the tuck versions:

Link to the Monte Carlo campaign will be posted when it's available. We hope to see you there! :)

Our new display boxes for the metals have turned out really great.....a suitable upgrade, befitting of the expensive metal decks. Much more modern, sleek and luxurious looking. Plus now custom to the city edition. The Monte Carlo edition will have this display box as well, but custom to Monte Carlo of course.

Some amateur shots I just took:

For those that are curious I recently did a review of the London Diffractor Emerald deck a few weeks ago: https://youtu.be/aw6WCXx8UW4

I just received an email that my metal diffractor decks have been shipped. They should be arriving in awhile. They do have to cross the pond, but that is good news. Hopefully the others that had metal case rewards have also received shipping notices. If not, you should expect to get them soon.

Thanks Brad

Yes, lots of metals have gone out over the last few days. We will be done with shipping them (and thereby all of London Diffractor) by mid next week. Then it's full focus on Frozen Metal & The Cube (the damn cube! haha)....will be worth it though! ;)

Have a nice weekend

Can I have a free handling sample? Sincerely asking because after I bought Las Vegas Diffractor I'm hesitant to spend any more Euro on them.
Or if not free at least a satisfaction guarantee (aka money back if not)?

Hey Havonsgard

Hope you’ll understand why I can’t take that request. I would open myself up to unlimited requests. You’ll just have to trust us (Lotrek and I) that we discuss such things (all tech aspects) and always endeavour to improve / provide good standards.

Someone just sent me this. No idea what is being said (I'll ask my China agent to translate ;)) but I must say....they got the lighting conditions just right for filming Diffractors.

For the supporters, well you might have these already, but, for the haters....this is a good opportunity here (at prices the people dictate) to get yourself a 'tin box thingy' with those playing cards inside which 'we think we have some god-given right to produce exclusively'

Any excuse for a good Saturday laugh (and ad bump).

Have a great weekend all.

How about an update on the project you have failed to deliver on? No update since September is incredibly poor.

What is the status of your KS project? It seems pretty brazen to post here when you have not delivered rewards to a fair number of backers that are members of this forum.
