Mike, isn’t Lotrek supposed to do the reveal tomorrow on Thursday, Oct 11?

I messed up the date, Sherman. It shows tomorrow, but I was thinking Friday?

Thanks Mike. Based on one of Lotrek’s earlier posts, it is tomorrow, Thursday the 11th.

It IS tomorrow, guys! I'm already in Cleveland and had some great time talking with fellow artists and collectors.

I hope everything‘s ship-shape for the con. I can‘t wait to get my greasy Australian paws on this new deck. (Also, hope you’ve read the PM I sent last week informing you of the arrangements I‘ve made). Shattered I cant be there in person.

yea, I had the same thoughts running through my head alllllll.damn.day.... *sigh* I guess I'll be spending the weekend in anxiously waiting for the post now even though rationally I know it probably won't come until sometime next week at the earliest lol

7PM, great. Well, I will be in a meeting. I am now imagining me standing up randomly and whooping while the Police escort me out....need to restrain myself. Maybe I can slip out for a few minutes.

7PM will be 1AM here... not really that late, but still late enough for me to whine & complain about how unreasonable exhausted I am tomorrow due to it lmao

They stopped the livestream. I was watching it but it kept pausing and the picture was blurry. All I know is Lotrek was having trouble with the microphone

Live streaming on Instagram needs some work. I am sitting beside Don, and the connection just isn't keeping up, so what you keep seeing is it throttling.

Lotrek truly loathes my pix done with the Pixel XL phone - rightfully so, but that is all I have at the moment.

Here are two shots of the Red and Blue Damask decks. He *will* post better pix soon, at which point I will nuke this one.

I thought there was only one mystery deck. Is one of these a limited release for the Convention? Just curious. Thanks for posting!!

Wow that deck looks very nice that's a must have.

I also had no idea there was more than one Damask deck, which was leading on from my earlier question about the plurals given to recent references to this deck.

Which also leads on to the question of how many of each are there. Initial quote for release was 400 printed of which 300 were forward sold. Does this number apply to each colour or is that combined?

I like the flower pattern there. The card back and the tuck case does not look that great to me, compared to Arabesque and the price. Might change my mind when I have got them in hand, tho.

400 red 125 blue. Just had a friend buy me a red with signed tick. Cant WAIT to see it in the flesh

so, this is not intended to be personal, but I've got some serious feelings about being explicitly told that there'd only be ONE Mystery deck... should we all just be assuming that designers are gunna be inherently dishonest/misleading/straight up lyin' or what...??

I can understand your disappointment PipChick and such conduct certainly wouldn’t be able to fly here in Australia. At the same time I can understand Lotrek’s desire to produce a “con exclusive” deck. Sucks for those of us - myself included - who only budgeted for the one deck, but I guess it’s a case of win some lose some

I'm sorry, but in hindsight, this just feels like a total slap in the face... especially considering that the whole point of pre-ordering a deck completely sight unseen with absolutely no details on concept is rooted in the utmost trust in a designer.

and the "Convention" Edition is in fact a variant of an existing deck - the Mystery Deck we all already pre-ordered... sooo.... ??

with all due respect, this really kinda sours the whole reveal for me... ugh - it's 3am here so I'm going to bed to try to sleep off the bitter feelings of disappointment & resentment

Wait, so those of us that pre-ordered won't even get the most exclusive version of the deck despite the fact that we helped finance it's production? Or, are/will they be they available on oath playing cards' website?
