Didn’t Lotrek already specified there are three release windows for the public? Well, this IS the second one - “your second chance”

Now is 29 decks left

I am confused as to why some Patrons have a password to get into the Patron section of the Shop but other Patrons do not? It seems Brad can get into it but I am a Patron and cannot.

He must have updated it for patrons who missed decks from the initial patron drop. If you recall, Brad had to message Lotrek to gain access to the deck and I'm guessing Lotrek changed the password so patrons who already got the deck don't grab extra stock. That way, he could ensure every patron who didn't get one could have a chance.

I just went to the public page and it weirdly shows 100 left but Ruben said there's 22 left. I bought 1 public version since I'm a completionist 🙃

Since that phase is done. It would be nice if all Patrons could get access to the Patrons page again and non MIII made available to all Patrons, not just some.

Does Redemption Story Vol. VI have another name? Ie. what's the deck inside the slip case; is it just "Patrons?"

Yes , tbh maybe it can be called Patrons Error edition to make it sound fancy ? :D

On my master list, I call it "Redemption Series Vol. VI - Patrons Test Print #2" as we had a non-foiled test print previously. Since this ended up not meeting Lotrek's standards and patrons voted for a reprint a few months back, this became another test print.

"Patrons" is reserved for the Year 1 reward, which Redemption VI is a subpar version of, hence the name.

I liked Redemption VI. Even his failed foil decks are wonderful. Two foils on the backs and hot foil on the front. For 55 euro, it is a wonderful deal. It is hard to go wrong for the price. Yes, I am price sensitive.

Yes, those of us that PM'd Lotrek got a new code. If a patron needs it to get to the patron site to get one of the Redemption decks can PM me. No Mystery III decks there right now.

Thanks hsbc, I'll revise my own title to call it first print instead of test print #2.

How similar is Vol Vi with Arabesque?

I wonder if part o the experiment with OATH Experimental is to give some embossing on the faces of the cards using the pressure for the foil, it sure looks nice (notice that the back design aligns perfectly with the design on the faces), no so much on the court cards!

I'm not entirely sure how to compare the two? Arabesque card stock is smooth and thicker, allowing for better foil registration, whereas Redemption VI has air-cushion texture. That's essentially one of the two reasons we're getting a reprint (that and the cards slightly bending).

You can see the foil not working well with the texture here in hsbc's photo, especially on the silver

My favourite part of Arabesque Silver Collectors Edition is the smooth, mirror-like silver foil.

I’m glad this is getting a reprint on smooth stock, but still means I have to try and get hold of one as I only started in Year 2 😅

That Japanese foil is so shiny, it's unreal. My favorite of the series. I remember reading it was discontinued and sourcing it was difficult, hence the rarity of the silver edition.

I just received my Redemption VII decks (Oath Experimental). Overall, I really liked the deck. Okay, not the best card stock, but better than a ton of his earlier decks in my opinion. It really reminded me of the Arabesque Error tuck with it's shiny foil. with the reverse watermark, it did help mitigate the back impression coming through on the front side.

I noted that on the six of spades there was part of the left spade in the middle that had a watermark visible on the black part of the pip. I went through the rest of the deck and noticed than it didn't happen anywhere else, so an error on the Experiment? It wouldn't surprise me.

For 35 euro including shipping, that was another no-brainer for me. I got four extras to go with my free redemption deck. I am glad Lotrek printed enough of this experiment to share with us and see the light of day. His failures are quite nice to me. :D

My favorite Redemption deck so far has to be Redemption VI (Patron v1). I am sorry, but the partial foil actually looked nice to me and I always get excited when Lotrek runs at least two foils on at least one side and at least one foil on both sides.

I did not get that reference right away. My first thought is that it must be Brad's nickname. Lol.

Very beautiful deck and a nice review from the Card Guy. Very curious how the Patreon edition will turn out with foil on the cards!
