That seems more like a crumb than a teaser. Still, I am glad for crumbs. Thanks.

I don't have access to any social media here at work, so my apologies if this is mentioned in the teaser. Are you still planning on launching the Kickstarter today?

Not today, probably next week. I will announce the date here when it is official. :)
That facebook page is public, i dont think you need to have a log-in...
anyway, here you can see the short video, no need to log-in: https://www.instagram.com/stockholm17/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

FB post says Monday, March 26 is the tentative launch date, so we have a calendar week to prepare our finances....

Somebody savvier with this stuff than I am needs to add an emoticon of paper bills flying out of a wallet so that I can promptly overuse it on like every Lorenzo thread.

TwoPiece will have to correct me if I'm wrong, but my guess is his employer has the facebook.com domain blocked entirely. Many mid- to large-sized employers in the US who give employees access to the Internet do.

EDIT: Instagram link may or may not solve the problem; my guess is they've blocked that as well.

My place of work as all social media outlets blocked. And I don't have a FB account. So if it weren't for UC I'd be missing out on a lot with this hobby!

Correct on both accounts, Merle. I have a Facebook account, but all social media websites are blocked by my employer. It sucks, because my previous office had nothing blocked, so during lunch we were able to do that stuff, watch YouTube videos, etc.

Also, for some reason I thought today is the 26th, which is why I was thinking that today was the launch date... :lol: :lol:

I’ve filmed my preview. But I’m now in bed with a mild fever. I have a sore throat. Will try and get the video finished as soon as I feel better. Can’t read my voice over right now. [emoji30]

Guys & gals these are some awesome cards, and I hope that everyone is going to show up early and often for the Kickstarter project which is 3PM Sunday EDT / NYC time.

Let's all help Lorenzo get a massive response for these, and don't forget that he will be doing our 8th annual decks (UC2020), even though right now I don't have a confirmed 2019 yet. (you can help by reminding Lance T Miller that he was supposed to be getting back to me by now (hint, hint)... ;)

Everything is just really, really fantastic about this deck EXCEPT that I wouldn't be able to use them for playing cards with my friends. :( I'm backing the version 2 reprint with values on the corners.

I'm sure the project will fund. The artwork is fantastic, but I'm interested in functional decks. Best of luck with this project.

@TheGentlemanWake: Excellent video review of the prototype.

I was really looking forward to your video previewing this deck, and you did not disappoint me. I loved the preview. I may be a few hours late to the launch as I will likely be travelling when it launches. However, I will be joining it as soon as I can. I can't wait to see what goodies are offered and hope a few good pledge options will still be around. Both deck versions excite me, but the foiled version especially so. The artwork is just amazing and I like the many details you pointed out in the preview. You have a careful eye for the detail Lorenzo includes.

@TheGentlemanWake: Excellent video review of the prototype.

If you take Faro variant you can play cards as they used to do in the 1800's eheh :) back to the old dayd

Beautiful video indeed, I am in tears of joy :D

Can someone translate the CET time for this American Idiot? I'm in Mountain Standard Time and I do NOT want to miss this launch. Thanks.

The release time does NOT change, just double check on sunday morning for you in the US :)

If I've done the math right, that means a 2pm EDT launch. Potato, if your region observes Daylight Savings Time it'll be 12pm noon for you; if not you'll have to get up at 11am.

The foregoing is not intended and should not be taken as expert advice on the subject of linear time.

Okay, now my head is spinning a little. Looks like 12pm my time, but I'll definitely check again on Sunday A.M. I am ridiculously excited for these decks.

Just search KS for "playing cards" and sort by Newest. Hit refresh for 5-10 minutes past what hour you think it launches and you should be ok. The best way to know is to follow Requiem Team on KS so you'll gt an email whenever he launches a project.
Find an old Requiem Team project, click on the "Created by Requiem Team" then click on "Requiem Team" at the top of the page and you'll see a Follow button. Click it so it's got a check mark and you'll get the email when it's go time.

The facebook launch event says 8pm UTC+02, which is 4am for me! :roll: The other half is NOT going to like that haha.

SO I'm new to this... and obviously supporting Lorenzo is something we all want.. but why do we need to be there at zero hour? If its 4am for you... whats the harm till waiting until morning?

There can be early bird and early very limited tiers, like a prototype deck. I am trying to remember if the really limited Experimental deck came out at the start, but I think it came out later. Still, it is good to lock in a good tier if you can.

@ttheGentlemanWake

You're fine, of course, but there could be old style Early Bird tiers that are very limited in number, as noted above.

Many projects are going to the timed EB tiers, though. I have not reviewed the KS project page, but I would not want to miss the opportunity if there is a ultra limited edition item - like 1 of 5 prototype decks, which we have seen before several times. People like Uusi also tend to have several very limited tiers by number, as well. Better to be early and be able to get anything as opposed to show up 30 minutes in and find all of some tiers already gone.

OK just to make it clear for all.. Just chatted with Lorenzo The project goes live in less than 4 hours at 2PM eastern Time or 11am Pacific time. In Europe it goes live at 8PM CEST not CET Central European Summer time

Hopefully we are all on the same page now
