Don't flatter yourself.)))) You're not much of a tracker.)))))))) I opened up for one reason, because I realized that the project would not go.... Usually if it goes, it goes systematically. He stopped. Perhaps played elementary vanity, but at least I declared that this is my work. My idea. Yes, I have a great artist, but I am the author of the plot of the cards. We all want some form of recognition for what we do. That's the only reason I opened up.) The only thing you're right about, but it's somewhere more on a subconscious level than analytical. It's that people won't want that much pain in the cards! They are weak and will avoid it in every way possible! Because these maps scream to them about the horror of war!Honeybee wrote: ↑Sat Oct 21, 2023 9:58 pmHe didn't voluntarily reveal it - I called him on it.I'm curious Sergey. Why the reason behind the initial anonymity, only to divulge your real identity during the KS? I admire your ultimate honesty and incorporating the community in your deck drafting, but your behavior viewed in its entirety does not spark confidence. I still wish the campaign the best.
His KS page was not as open as it is now but it only took one click to raise the questions that I asked
He has been deceptive even though his chosen quest is wholesome
It was a silly thing to do as many people are going to research a KS campaign
You got this dreadfully wrong Sergey and I hope you get it right in another medium in the future (as card design is likely finished for you)
Your attitude that "you are all rich folk that should not be questioning me" is that of a 'victim' - I hope you become a 'survivor' not a victim as those of us that have survived massive tragedies know that there is difference which I hope your translator distinguishes
Reading back it would seem that Rousselle had serious doubts before me

Re: "Stop War"
The campaign is called Stop War. I certainly did not expect the creator to become combative. What a twist.

Re: "Stop War"
It did have an early combative start, took a little trip, returned home.
I was intrigued as to why the mid stream reveal, last comment made the reason behind that clear - another unexpected twist I must say.
There is a part of me that desires to fight over the weakness comment, but it has little merit and I have even less desire to have conflict over the last breaths of a Stop War deck, so I will let it lay.
As for the lack of campaign success, we could have a discussion regarding that, but I don’t see the point.

I don't see the point either. The cards are on the table, everyone has spoken. We can finish here.

Re: "Stop War"
Stopped the project today. I don't see the point in keeping it going any longer... Bee was probably right: "Obviously this is a very serious question, but when you create a deck of playing cards, I would ask: "How much pain will people want to buy?" Even taking into account the fact that I came out under a different name. The project itself didn't attract attention. I wonder why though... I guess really people instinctively try to avoid pain.....

With things going on in Gaza I'd say the hard truth is people moved on. Ukraine war ain't en vogue anymore.
For me personally the artwork isn't interesting enough to back. I'm not easily sold on ideas, topics, marketing or however you wanna call it. I judge solely on the fact if I like a design or not. And in that regard it felt short for me personally. It's nice art, don't get me wrong but not beautiful enough for me subjectively.
The weird shenanigans around the name behind the campaign did certainly not help though imho. We live in a world with enough deceptions; I for my part enjoy and encourage honesty and transparency and am put off by stuff like what was going on with this campaign.
