It's his strong suit! He could do one for the euro, at the very least. I can dream of him doing the Armenian dram, but alas, we're a small minority in the world.

Seeing how underwhelming Sterling is, I feel like the literature themed decks are more his strong suit but most KWP diehards are still all hype for Federal52 so, I guess the feedback from his discord community will be a pretty unison hell yeah!
With some Federal52s in my collection and the OG Legal Tender Renminbi I personally couldn't care less. Those are all you need imho. Great thing for new collectors though as they get the currency style decks without paying through the nose and maybe when he goes for some exotic currencies indeed, there might be a hidden gem in this series. So I'll keep my fingers crossed for you @kevork.

The feedback in the discord is hell ye to pretty much anything he says 😅

I liked the shorts most when the decks were wide ranging. Deck the halls, original pi, labyrinth, valley forge, verum videre, crayons and the Halloween trick or treat deck were my favorites he's done. That was the goat year for subs imo creatively. Literally decks are nice, money decks once in a while, but only if there's variety. I wouldn't want all the decks to be of one theme. Kinda gets stale.

If he does completely new countries and limits them to 6 a year, I think it would be a great series...there are some really beautiful currencies that would look great on playing cards

I'm surprised to see you call Sterling underwhelming. It was one of the decks of the year for me last year. As is Chinese Legal Tender this year. Two of the best he's ever done imo.

I fully agree with him about Sterling. There was something about the composition. Maybe it was the lines across the faces but it wasn’t anywhere near as good as Legal Tender and Chinese Legal Tender.

Thanks for reminding me of the literature decks! I miss those book boxes. I understand there were quality control issues but his recent wooden "legacy" boxes have been pretty shoddy quality too. I'm not a subscriber of his, which means I have to pay a premium if there's a gilded deck I end up liking (like the Seven Colors gilded), but otherwise, I'm happy picking and choosing.

I have a standard sub for this series, but randomly got a gilded deck this month. Nothing on the tuck indicated it, so I didn't see until I'd opened it. They must have packed it in the wrong tuck by accident. Someone else (on the discord) had the same thing happen.

There is another version of Oakeshott, produced for Winburn Steel - also some neat info about the deck name :D These have a different tuck and back design that says "Winburn Steel" [P52]
Oakeshott Luxury Playing Cards, $12.00

Check out our unique Oakeshott luxury playing card collaboration with artist Jackson Robinson of Kings Wild Project. Every card has unique illustrations of swords from Oakeshott sword typology.

The Oakeshott typology is a way to define and catalogue the medieval sword based on physical form. It categorises the swords of the European Middle Ages (roughly 11th to 16th centuries[1]) into 13 main types, labelled X through XXII. The historian and illustrator Ewart Oakeshott introduced it in his 1960 treatise The Archaeology of Weapons: Arms and Armour from Prehistory to the Age of Chivalry.

Not sure how hsbc always gets his decks so much earlier than I do, but here we are. :D

Wow. I am glad JR managed to produce this deck and make the tucks he envisioned originally. That is a nice way to end out this series. I may have to pick up some extras.

IIRC, there's still one more Club 13 deck to go: The 12 Days of Christmas.

Each of the courts is simply labeled, "Day 1," "Day 2," and so on.
