Maybe you can put yourselves together, and get the Set together, vasta41 gets the "cheaper" test print, and PrincessTouble gets the final edition. Not to much for either of them, but either gets a deck. Since 50$ is half of 100$ you can own double of them. And Lotrek's decks stay in family

From my perspective, the official one is the one to open (if you're set on opening one, that is). It's going to look exactly the way Lotrek envisioned for the release, and there will be far less demand for it than the test deck since the test deck is as limited as it is in numbers!

but as wondered about a few times already on this thread, is there any type of finish on this deck? I know, I know, most people who buy this deck are NEVER going to actually play with them, but for those who actually use cards for their intended purposes, I'd like to know if they handle well or not. I already don't have any expectations for handling on par for what's required of cardistry, or even magic, but can these be at least be easy to shuffle and deal so that they're pleasant enough to use for several rounds of poker?

If I'm not remembering wrong, Lotrek said that this should be printed with the same finish that he tested with the LESS deck, and you could check out that thread for my post yesterday for comments, photos, and short clips:

That said, Imma pass on this deck and go sit with 2P because art-wise it's not on par enough to entice me to sell my bladder (I don't have any kidneys or livers left).

I realise this deck purchase is +shipping, but has there been a ballpark figure mentioned? Based on previous sales shipping wasn't a huge extra cost, but as it is I'm staring down $200 the pair.

Where did you get the prices? I don't see the price mentioned in his FB page. Curious as shipping is usually included with the price of the decks.

I believe the term we're kicking around with to describe them is " Tuckists". Do we have a better term for that? "Tuckers" could also work but sounds too close to *uckers….

Shipping LESS to me in USA was $7.50 so I'll guess $15 to ship both. About $145+ total if I can snag one.
