Actually with a bit under €700 a day average on top of what you've already raised, you'll hit the 250% funding goal. You received over €1000 on day 2 of funding, so you're perfectly on track so far.

Well when you put it like that... I guess it’s only been a day and a half so there’s loads of time left. Maybe it’s time to sit back a bit and see what happens for the next couple of days.
I am weary of this funding.. but there's still hope. Make sure to ask everyone you know to cross promote (I haven't seen JR here in a while but his fan base could certainly help). Also, I'm not sure if this would help, but it takes a double-take to realize that your KS title is actually playing cards. Maybe add the word "deck" or "decks" in there for keyword purposes? I'm not sure how KS searches go but you could get more hits that way.
60% in two days isn't bad and I'm rooting for you! But I think you'll need help.

This campaign should be ok. Look at NEO:WAVE Kicktrack It was a classic example how not to start a campaign  with just 40% after first three days. LOL.

p.s. Try to make images bigger (boxes, back design). The art is detailed, but I cannot see anything.

Definetly. Take some rest, and relax a bit. There is no way, this will not get funded! Just as others said, the quality of this campaign is clearly visible.
I think your expectations are a bit high, since the TGW campaign just recently exploded on kickstarter and skyrocketed. Your progress is absolutly fine.

You could always post an update staging a fake war with UC at the last minute to boost sales...that seems to work for some campaigns. [BACON]

Agreed. We don't want him coming back here...

On-topic: 60% has been achieved. If, for some ridiculous reason, this isn't funded... Maybe Murphy's Magic can come in and help produce a great deck like this one..?

Thanks for all the advice guys - this community showing once again how fantastic it is :)

So regarding image updates and things Ales gonna look into refreshing and improving some images this afternoon. I like our mockups but unfortunately the vast majority of users now are on smartphones (including myself as we’re between houses!) and they simply need to be bigger and closer up.

I’m going to try a few things over the next day or so to try and spur some Double Deckers into backing the larger tiers. Ive been surprised by how many have opted for that tier shipping and all despite the obvious logic of having both variants, and perhaps I can encourage them to step up a bit.

I’ve chatted to TGW and messaged Jody about some cross promotion in the coming days so hopefully that can give us a boost. And to be fair our personal circles have yet to come through which I’m sure they will but they take a bit of handholding to understand Kickstarter.

Stay tuned for some updates. Thank you so much for the support!

On it now! Google Analytics confirms that 60-90% of users are on smartphones seeing tiny dots. The mockups are nice, but they just aren't getting seen. Lesson learned.

Analytics is also telling us that we're getting hits, plenty really. Not just converting so frequently. Hopefully this can be improved in the coming days.

Interesting about your NEO:WAVE campaign, what caused the slow start? And what do you think contributed to it's eventual success?

I don't know why the start was slow.

I do not recommend you to do the same  I created new Sunset box, uploaded improved mockups with better foil, reduced the number of decks from 1500 to 750 ... and rose prices for new backers :D

Wait for me to get back from vacation, I'm gonna promote this via my Instagram page definitely! I'm pretty stumped not seeing the expected acceleration of backers coming to this project…

Timing also matters I believe. Coming after Parlour and Jody's decks could have left backers backing less than they would have. 1-2 decks rather than 4-6 or even a brick.

Unless you're an established creator with a solid fanbase or you've got something really different or excitingly new; try to avoid November/December/early Jan launches as people will be saving up for Black Friday/Cyber Monday sales or maxed out with Christmas sales. Plus let's not forget Singles day/1111 for Asia 's version of BF/CM with Alibaba/Taobao and others following suit.

There’s always a lot of factors. It’s nice that people think it should be Doug better but 70% after three days is a dream for most creators especially first timers! Maybe we can consider this our starting out project and reward all the backers with a little something as a thank you for supporting us so early on.

Even if we’d gone with our original May 1st launch date I think everything would be the same. Stretch goals are awesome but the deck is blinged up to begin with so even if we just find we’ll be over the moon.

I’m thinking of bringing the booklet stretch goal forward later in the campaign and offering it free to all tiers above €35 or as an add on to the smaller tiers. Maybe this’ll push a few people up and should make a nice collectible. Depends on progress though.

Still a long way to go, lots more to do and we’re learning loads every day. Thanks for the continued encouragement!

Thank you my friend!

A few people have upped their pledges and made today quit a success. We’re almost at 70%!

I’ve reintroduced the ‘brick of each’ tier for €195 on a 28 hour limited reward for the weekend. It’ll likely be the cheapest opportunity to get some decks so if anyone likes to buy by the brick check it out.

That said you’ve all been wonderful and I can’t ask any more of anyone here. Hopefully it will tempt some new backers :)

Are you going to have a deal for a single brick?

Well the early bird bricks were a good price at €115 and they have a lot of backers, as do standard bricks so I can’t offer anything that would offer a better deal than their pledges. The 2 brick tier wasn’t backed.

There was a big push overnight - thank you to those involved!

I've added a new update about the Diamonds, some of the characters and inspiration behind the style and colours. The keen eyed amongst you may spot a slight difference in style between the Red and Black suits and it's revealed here.

It’s ticking on quite nicely. Had some upgraded pledges and some potential backers getting in touch. I expect weekends are quiet so we’ll see what happens on Monday.

In other news we swung by the local magic shop and were surprised to see Omnia by Gio and House is the Rising Soade on sale. Usually it’s just stacks of bikes and Orbit decks. How’s €28 for HOTRS? I considered getting it to see what all the fuss is about :)

We'll be shouting Fillide out on the next Parlour update! Hope to see this get funded!

I wonder, and forgive me for offering my opinion, could the name be hurting your project? I don't of course know what Fillide means inherently. But I think there's a dramatic undervaluing of what a deck is NAMED. I actually have a similar thought regarding Jody's Luminosity. I wonder if something else more norse in nature would have attracted even more funding. Again, prior to Parlour, this kind of comment from me is par for the course--I'm a reviewer after all. I certainly don't want to come across as feeling like I know better. lol. Lorenzo and I deliberated about a month on what to call the deck, as obvious as the deck name seems now. SO I know its hard to do.

EDIT: And the above goes for the KS project name too. It takes a long time to get to the words "playing card". In fact, Sicilian folk tale makes me feel like it could be a book or worse a narrative card game. THis could affect the 'foot' traffic of a campaign.

Thank you! I’m looking forward to it :)

It’s a good theory and something we haven’t considered. It’s not got the nicest ring in English however you pronounce it. On the other hand it’s the only Italian on the box and I originally wanted a bit more. Also in general having a name that people are unsure of how to pronounce is risky. Worth bearing in mind for next time!

But then again we can’t complain with 75% funding after 4 days. We didn’t even have an online presence six months ago so it’s not all doom and gloom :)

"No add-ons available at this tier"

I don't think this helps...

What does this mean exactly?
These pledges can't get absolutely no add-ons? Or just no add-ons at the discounted price higher pledges have?

It allows us to keep shipping free regardless of addons or choice of decks.

If you look carefully there’s no tier that misses out with this setup except the 1 deck tier which, to be honest, I’d rather not allow addons for as ultimately we’re here to promote decks of cards over anything else.

Every other tier is cheaper as part of an add-on tier. For example you can get six decks for €70. If you want six decks and a coin, it’s cheaper to buy the Gambler and add 4 decks than it would be to ‘addon’ the coin.

I realise it’s not standard and the jury’s still out as to whether it’s the best system but it actually benefits backers. I didn’t want loads of people getting the two deck tier and adding on thus paying shipping when they needn’t do so.

It's been a massive help! We'll know the full results tomorrow :)

I'd say if it keeps going like this we should be funded in a couple of days, especially if we have a good Monday.

Thank you guys, fingers crossed :D
