This is typical Montenzi zillions of variations. He does this with all his decks. It takes some getting used to.

What if we build this back design around one central element? At this moment I like this idea. I need to keep this classic feel and use 3-6 colors at the same time. It's not T11 style back anyway

Hard to decide. What I would like to keep whichever way you go is some yellow in the corners, aka the "fan-area", like the top one has.

The second back design is just WOW.

I actually prefer the backs with orange accents.

I still prefere 722 from all the back designs shown over there but between the two latest ones, this is the best, the fan should look awesome.

For fanning, I really prefer full bleed. The white border isn't working for me. But, hey, stick some foil on it and I'll shut up.

Thanks for your comments! I'll work on courts now and will continue working on the back design when I have new ideas. BTW, my original back design is still possible.

Count me as a yes for the orange accent options. It is a great compliment to the green you’ve chosen. Without the orange it feels somehow lacking.

Full bleed if you choose this one. Like it, but very much rather the original back.

I like 902, but orange instead of red. Unless it is orange but looks red on my phone for some reason.

I like my playing card backs how Trump likes America- with a border! But I know I'm in a minority. I can't wait to see tuck box renders (don't forget some nice, obvious UC branding!).

I should’ve been more specific. The orange that’s woven into the background in 825 and 826 is sharp. I think when you swap it out with the red it’s not as vibrant. Just my two cents.

Tried orange, looks ugly. I'll post some with orange later.

I'll finish courts now, but those designs are just a sketch (you know me).

We are planning one limited deck and one standard one. I am working in a different direction but will show this 2nd back when it's ready.

@vasta41 you are not alone! I like decks with borders! It's 60 vs. 40 for borders/borderless

I'll just step back and let Montenzi go through his creative process by making hundreds of variations, and critique the one he finally decides to go with. I appreciate all the sharing and insight, but it feels very redundant when 99% of what is posted never leaves the drawing board or even gets the chance to be improved by suggestions.

For some reasons, this design is much better with borders. But the last one borderless is what I like. I'll try to render this design with foil.

The only way to make borderless back is to make fronts in the same color.

It solves a lot of design problems for me!!! I like this contrast of the green background and deep, bright colors with foil!

LTD green borderless? Standard white with borders?
