My goof in not recognizing the difference in the different releases of "8-bit" decks as I received the first BackerKit request in June then combined with notes about 8-bit decks shipping and being received.
(And while I do think there is probably a clearer choice of adjectives out there then "original" vs "traditional" to distinguish between two sets, the fault is definitely mine in failing to note which was being discussed).
All clear now, though.

Been meaning to get around to a review of the original ones. Probably in early 2019

I'm a little surprised these aren't doing better, since these do appear to be essentially a Home Run Games project, which have done well in the past....
(although, looking up through the thread, I see the previous attempt also didn't make it. AND, the goal this time is even higher. Huh.)

Isn't this basically a reprint of his entire back catalogue? I would assume most fans of the 8-bit series already have them.

Exactly. I would be more surprised if this funds in 2022. I mean Eye of the Ocean, Fellowship of the Ring, The Successor, ... , ... , this...

I must confess, as cool as I think (and thought) the idea is, I never did back these back in the day, so I figured I'd grab a couple now. True, these are nowhere near on par with those other campaigns you mentioned, but also true, these are not priced like them, either.
