I did my TOP 100 favorite deck list some time ago. Arcana by Dead on Paper is number 1. I mean, this might become my favorite deck, I love every single thing about this.

Btw in terms of fatness:

Stereotypical American < Cow
Cow < Elephant
Elephant < "Your mama"
"Your mama" < The pips on this deck

The hype train is going at max speed at the moment.

Lorenzo,

Do you have an approximate month in mind when this is going to launch? Are you thinking August, or way further down the line like October or November?

What's the chance of doing cheap display decks like Jackson Robinson did on a campaign before? Depending on price, this looks like a deck I could bring out for a poker game and show friends what non standard cards are all about.

The evolution of the back design has taken a enormous stop forward. Both choices are fantastic. Bring on display decks and this could be my first 2 brick purchase.

Hi!
I was thinking to launch at the end of september, I am working on a couple of things (secret) and it takes time. I "almost done" with the deck, I have to do the jokers and the aces... and a few tweaks.
The tuck is almost ready, but the biggest thing that makes me busy is that secret thing ;)

i dont know about the display decks, it might be a stretch goal... I´ll see :)

Hi Lorenzo,

I´ve been following your work for some time and I love all of it.
You are a awesome designer, with incredible good taste and with the right amount of "craziness" and "dark side". :)
As I said before, I love your work and I really hope your success increase in each deck you make.

Best regards,

From your fan,

Vitor Reis

I wrote this already in Facebook but I'll put it to here as well. The only problem I see with this deck is that how are you, or anyone else for that matter, going to top this? I am pretty sure this deck is made out of some divine material which is pretty confusing to an atheist.

It does not matter which year we get this, end of 2016 or beginning of 2017, this is going to win a deck of the year prize when it comes out.

Yeah I like it, the only problem really is that how are you going to do a even better deck after this one, this is so good :D

The atheist joke explained:

1. I am an atheist
2. This deck is so good that it must have some divine connection to it
3. I don't believe in divine stuff
4. Confusing!

Late to the recent comment party, but agree these look pretty awesome and different in a good way. Nice work! I'm a bit torn on the pips though, as they have that old world / hand made look, but at the same time adds/detracts. Over all I think it's still a good approach when combined with the other cards and even alone the novelty aspect wins over any concerns over it not looking retouched. I just need to view them as like a historical deck and the lack of uniformity in color is part of the charm. ;)

Hello everybody!

finally I am done with Gemini :) I have to wrap it up and build the campaign, which will be in September. First I need a little vacation before the launch. Also I am waiting for a quotation from EPCC and a couple of things I will unveil during the campaign.

I did many tweaks, especially the axes (read aces) :D
I post here a few pictures. Cheers!

Tweak-list on the prototype.

New Axes with latin quote: Amor Arma Ministrat (=love provides arms)

Blade of Spades or Axe of Spades? I think I will go for Axe of spades :)

This is a sensitive topic lol
I have so many requests and one item. The idea is to gather some Gemini original art (sketches and mockups), the prototype, and have an ebay auction.
Or a raffle, but in both cases it makes me feel somewhat unfair. Lottery is luck related, auction is money related.
A contest is something I will think about... a treasure hunt? i dont know, it takes quite a lot of time to plan in a fair way, plus the follow up.
I will think about it :)

Hello everybody!

finally I have a launch date: September 10th 2016 on Kickstarter
It is still temporary, I am waiting for a few special arrivals and the quotations.

I am done with the design. I fixed the colors of the back design and I am planning the kickstarter campaign.
I´ll be off the grid for a couple of weeks (=deserved summer vacation) and when I am back I will build the campaign page.

The plan is to start with 2 decks: Gemini Terra and Gemini Ignis (not pyro, that´s greek, I stick to latin).
3rd deck as stretch goal, Gemini Noctis (yes, tradition).
I am working on a few special things, I am sure you will like them.

Meanwhile, stay tuned. I will post every now and then on Instagram and facebook
cheers! :)
