Just got my two decks in the mail (60/750 on the LE version), and man do I regret not getting more. They're terrific looking cards (and tucks). I think I was too concerned with the pledging platform to get my usual quantities.

The limited edition are already going for double on ebay, they could be worth more as time goes on.

Got back from 10 day/3500 mile road trip to find a brick of Hive 2! No green yet, maybe USPS will deliver those tomorrow.
Love the art, and lighter characters, blacker indices -- much better for play.
The light ivory background is much better than the Hive 1 gray too.
Didn't really notice that gray before, but the contrast between the two decks is striking.
Can't wait to see what Brendan does next.

For what it's worth, I received both green and LE in the same shipment. You may want to drop KW a line.

I think it depends on how you pledged. I pledged on three separate occasions and mine was shipped in three separate packages.

So Bama the only brick you could buy I thought was the green deck brick in the pledge levels.. You got a brick of the limited for $240?

I lied, or actually I misled you in an attempt at brevity. I pledged for 6 LE decks right away, and then looked at the images again later and regretted not pledging for more so I ordered another 8.
I pledged for the brick of Green separately. As many of you know, the brick got interpreted as a single deck in the fulfillment center, so I only got a single deck today. Brendan sent out a note to backers saying that this is being addressed.
The four unique jokers are pretty cool!

An uncut tuck of the limited edition would've been great!! I would've got one instead of always looking inside of the tuck.

So, BHong's latest (and possibly last) project update for Hive 2 said that he wasn't sure if or when he'd have another big project rolling out.
I can only imagine that there's a great deal of work behind creating a completely new design for a deck of cards, but given how well he has been honing his craft, I hope we get a chance to see more from him. He brings an interesting voice to the language of playing card design.

I finally found Hive that I can still get new from a retailer for a mere $13us but without the hives on the back, these green decks look so ordinary compared to the V1's

You did? OK to share the retailer who still has Hive 2 in stock?

Hey Eric, as well as the couple of tucks pictured a little up this page, do you remember this one? A different Ltd Edn to the black tuck?
Henry/SoCal labelled it 'Kings Wild Project: The Hive 2 Limited Edition Gold (Inverted Tuck, #227/750) '

I have the Limited v2 Gold Hive now and this is what you see inside the tuck
I figure somebody just took one of these decks and carefully peeled off the seal, disassembled the tuck and reassembled it to create the yellow looking tuck that I attached to the previous post - that is after all the definition of an inverted tuck

Looks like foil on inside but not outside.

Yes, the earlier pic looks like yellow ink rather than foil but I am supposing that is simply a trick of photography
Nowhere can I find the suggestion that there was ever a yellow tuck version so I cannot come up with any other explanation (plus we have the description 'inverted tuck')

Henry/SoCal confirmed that someone carefully removed the seal, disassembled the tuck and reassembled it inside out.
