In the most recent update for this project Jack said "my thoughts and sympathies go out to whatever Portfolio52 and Alex are facing." And I'm starting to get the impression that no one has had any contact at all with Alex. Which makes me pretty concerned for his well being. Does anyone know if anyone has had any contact with Alex at all?

I know Jack has heard from him since that update was sent, but I don't probe as to the nature of Alex's absence as I'm sure he has his reasons. I agree with everyone in that I hope things are turning around for him in his personal life.

I’m very excited for his patreon. My understanding is this will be different than most other creators as Jack uses cards as a medium but his patreon won’t be focused on just playing cards. That being said, I’m a huge fan of his art and the world he creates so I’ll be vying for one of those 20 spots.

From looking here when it was reported sold out, it looks like a just missed it. Ah well, I am surprised it was available as long as it was. I didn't realize it was for just 20 slots, but that is Jack for you. Congrats to those that picked up one of the slots. I am fine. I am backing enough stuff anyway.

Some might say sensitive, some might say empathetic - either way, hsbc was dealt a collectors blow and we are keen to it.

I read your first comment and figured it for an attempt at lightening the blow, though knowing the artist he was hoping to patronize the “saved” money comment was not the best fit for comfort, that does not belie the intent

Even though the 20 slots are sold out people can still join for only $3 a month and that gives access to behind the scenes and also the chance to purchase his older decks before the public. I was a $2 a month Pip on Lorenzos patreon for a year and found it to be a great value. Considering for Jack's patreon it's 100% unclear what the higher tiers will even end up getting at the end of the year, I think the $3 tier is a great alternative. When I look back at all the other major creators patreons pages I regret not being a member the first year so I am more than happy to be along for this one.

I want to reassure you that I have not checked out permanently. It was completely unfair to you and the backers of this project and JBP to not have been a better communicator.

This project has not stopped and is proceeding. As mentioned in another comment art is with EPCC and the handmade items are shipping from Japan later this week to our fulfillment center.

Regarding my login, I've had a KS bug for a while where I was unable to manage certain dashboard items through the desktop including comments and pictured updates and was dealing with KS tickets to get it fixed and was only focusing on making sure items were going through in the mean time. I should have prioritized communication over a pretty update.

I assure you 6 that JBP's work is real gold, not fool's. Any issues you or others have should be reserved for myself alone and can be submitted to me via DM me. All praise for the art should be submitted to the wonderful JBP. I have been going through them slowly but have been doing so.
