Exactly. The problem aren't the courts 😉. Thus my point is proven.
Ive performed with Standard bikes and Kingstar swordsman deck to the same spectator and while they could easily understand and work with the Bikes that wasn’t the case with Kingstar deck due to the custom courts and pips . The more closer to standard courts and pips the artwork is the less chance of spectators being unable to understand.

Some customized decks work better than others. Font choice for the indexes is a huuuge consideration, in that regard. Clarity in the illustration and design is also key. YMMV.

One spectator... great sample size for a verdict. My point (that it's not the courts that cause problems but the attention of your spectators and/or the familarity to only one court set is the problem) still is stands, since by your statement, people (plural) had even problems with standard courts.

My previous point wasn't that custom courts don't cause any trouble. Of course they can if your audience is just used to one set of courts.
But your point (and echoed by many before thus my comment) was that they can't be used! Which is just incorrect as you can make them work if you're willing to. Make your audience familiar with them.
I'm just glad to be priviledged to live in Europe where we have a huge variety of different courts and suits cross the countries and are not hellbend on those ugly af USPCC standard courts for convinience sake.

Yes with explaination custom courts can be used , but standard court cards make it much easier.

And yet you have people struggle with standard courts. So the courts are again not the problem. But I can see why they are a problem for some, lel.

Unless they are specifically made as the high tier rewards for year 4, every Patreon will have access.
