Got my Limited copy today (have 3 gilded coming at some point) overall I like the deck for the look and the theme. I agree the handling is meh same feel as the holo legal tender. For me I will just be checking the printer from now on before I plunge for multiple of a deck. Overall I like it but for me it doesn't reach "god" tier due to the printer
LOL "god" tier. You people should really lower your expectations all playing cards will ever be is stacks of paper. We're not saving the world or anything.

If all they are are stacks of paper...then my wife was right all along! Let's just keep this quiet. Great deck!

This may not be appropriate for this thread but this is my favorite tier ranking with god tier Karens freak outs
Did the subscribers snap all these up or are there still some that will go up on the public storefront later? I missed the e-mail about the opt-in renewal at the end of last year so my sub lapsed (And I never got my 13th deck for the 2019 sub, but that's a different story....)
I think all the limited and gilded were snapped up as both subscriptions show full right now. I am sure there will be some standard decks available. If not, Jackson has said he will print this deck into oblivion! So, there will be standard versions available for sure in the future.
Jackson is also doing a second gilded deck. One is gold and the other is green. I am not sure which color is which. I don’t know the details yet on how the second gilded deck will be released, but it wii come.
The Crazy Squirrel Deck Hunter - Hunt decks to extinction
I just got the first part of my order and opened one of my standard decks. They look awesome. Did I have to seperate the cards out of the box? Yeah. Are the stiff? Yeah. Is the deck thick? Yeah. Is some of the gilding stuck a little in some other places? Yeah. That still doesn't detract from this deck at all in my opinion. I think the printers did a great job with the hot foil They did a great job with the registration of the foil on the cards. This may not be a deck for cardists, but for me as a collector, it is an amazing deck. Bravo Jackson. This should be one you reprint.

Agree with you on the fantastic foil registration. My only difference in opinion is that I think the stuck gilding DOES detract from the deck. I'm not a cardist. I collect for the art and for the cards as objet d'art. A few gold flecks here and there I wouldn't mind, but when a heart pip or part of a queen's face is partially obscured by gold, the fact that it is foil doesn't give it a pass in my book. And I would hope a creator like Jackson wouldn't just say "Oh well, thems the breaks." I hope he'd be a little frustrated that his vision was compromised by inadequate production. I am in love with this deck's design, and to see it perfectly executed would have brought me a lot of joy. As it is, I can't fully say "Bravo Jackson." More like, "Good effort."
Fair points wingedpotato. However, in the one case I opened, the foil flecks did not affect the court faces. That said, upon further thought, the handling really isn't good. I can only hope and expect it to improve. Overall though, I still like the Robin Hood deck I opened. I don't have a gilded deck yet, and am not sure I will be brave enough to open one of mine.

Actually what do u not like about the handling? I haven’t gotten mine yet, but if it’s the same stock as holo Legal Tender as Jackson said (or for that matter Nutcracker), I feel after they break in they fan, shuffle, spring and dribble pretty well. They just aren’t good for faro, and feel a bit too thick (say compared to Cartamundi B9 superlux). I do hope they can be a bit thinner.
As I started handling them some more (they are still very new out of the box), but as I compared the handling to The Entertainer (another EPCC deck), Peter dash flash (USPCC) NPCCD 2019 (MPC) and Room17 (Cartamundi), this deck was the worst handling. From memory of the Legal Tender reprint, I think these handle better than the new Legal Tender. Again, it isn't a huge deal for me, but they should work on improving the handling on future issues. For me, they just don't side well. I didn't find the cards had very good texture either. The cards are stiff, which I am fine with. I am sure some better experts will weigh in with a lot better perspective. The handling does not hold me back from really liking this deck though. I got this deck for $12, so that seems great deal to me.

I fear Brad's joking reason for deck delays here may have, this time, come to fruition. Either that or Customs found a snail fit enough to carry out the delivery (9 days since clearing and me, 100 miles away, has no deck)

I have a package full of cards from KWP in transit from 2 July. Probably on the bottom of the ocean already. Sad thing is it was a delayed shipping with my numbered subscriber's decks and decks I was really looking forward to like Postage Paid (whole set), Gilded Nutcracker etc. I'm waiting if Aimee can do anything with USPS but starting to be quite hopeless.

That really sucks. Hope KW takes good care of you to make up for it.
For those who have a gilded sub, I just spoke with Aimee. It seems the decks are still with the gilder, so I can only imagine we will see these in October or later. The suspense is killing me!
The gilded decks have been a pain in their logistics from the beginning. They were just getting it fixed by being way ahead of schedule when COVID-19 through a massive wrench in the machinery. I am just amazed they have been able to get the regular monthly subscriptions out without significant delays. I think that is just a testament to their hard work and advance planning to have things done early. Now, if we can just finish out the year. If you haven't seen the Robin Hood deck yet, you are in for a treat. I am going to be so very tempted to crack open one of my gilded decks....

I haven't been able to watch as many of his livestreams this year and from what I understand, he would show some sneak peeks of the gilded box and tuck. I still have no idea and I want to be amazed. The LTD and STD editions are already so good

has anyone heard any news on the gilded robin hoods?
I was informed that the Gilded Robin Hoods won't be ready to ship till around mid-October as the gilder is experiencing delays. So not toooooo much longer
I imagine Beowulf will have a similar (but probably shorter) delay since they both have gilding and the "bookcase" for the gilded decks that are holding them back. Other decks like Don't Tread On Me will likely not be as delayed as these are.
I've spent way more than I care to admit on playing cards, but I'll still buy just about anything that Lorenzo, Jackson, or Gio make.
