Update : Order from Vanda Store received. I think communication is very very slow, but after that I had no problem with my order.

seems like a "going out of business" sale if you ask me. I'll be happy once this project is fulfilled. But I won't ever be happy at the way Vanda came to a supposed end here. Unless an explanation comes our way. Let's just hope we all get our decks.

I have not backed any of his projects, but since I did miss the Planets series altogether, I went ahead and got a set for a cool $42. Not bad. Now, if he steals my money and doesn't deliver the decks, then I should have heeded the warnings I have read in this thread. I rolled the dice......

Website orders do seem to be going out although often up to a month later

And yet still unable to do anything more than a form email to his backers and no communications at all on Kickstarter.

New email from Vanda says they are starting fulfillment of the Centurion project in the next couple days.

You can pay with Paypal. I did and also opened a case because I hadn't any news for days, but finally I received all the decks

It's nice to see that maybe they'll finally get to backers, but think the damage has been done for any possible future work

New KS update: Shipping starts this week. Stories is next on his agenda.

Pathetic update IMO, still want nothing to do with him after this. Makes it sound like he wasn't dark for the last five months.

Just wondering if centurio started shipping? Because there hasn't been any stories update. I wasn't really expecting one anyway

Assuming the set didn't include Mercury? Like you I obtained a set of 7 (two sets actually). I have received them both and added the Mercury deck I obtained seperatly to one of them.

I certainly wouldn't trust that, all these actions definitely add up to him being unable to actually pay for the last two campaigns

It appears that the decks are completed but the money for the shipping/fulfillment is missing.
Then he tryed to gather funds by selling his left vanda stock. This seemed to be not enough, so he's in "fuk it"-mode and just sells the decks he has.

Per GW this morning, they are shipping Centurio this week. They received payment a couple of days ago, so THIS WILL HAPPEN. I can't believe my eye holes.

I'm so excited for these decks. Honestly, I hope he eventually continues the series once he has everything back in order.

I am still really intrigued by this project that he teased last June as the next deck in the series. Looks fantastic, but I have trust issues now.....

Honestly, I get it. Lots of people are angry about this project (even if some take it a little too far). If he can give us some reassurance that he is 100% prepared for a new campaign in the future, then I am there. I've always enjoyed his designs up til now.

Assume that you are speaking of me in terms of "take it a little too far". I have several hundred dollars tied up in this and Stories. He has behaved terrible on these campagins in terms of his communication. I don't think I've taken it too far, I think he has taken it too far in the total disrespect he has shown his backers. Not sure why you think his "reassurance" would mean a thing in terms of future projects. Being a good designer does not make you a good businessman and that has been proven time and time again.

I was trying to be a bit general here, as I've seen lots of comments on here, KS, and other places, so my apologies if it appeared I was targeting you. It was not my intention.

That said, I have quite a bit of money tied up in both of these projects as well, though maybe not as much as you and many others. Honestly, I'm trying to keep an open mind about these projects. David has delivered numerous projects in the past without a problem, so I think that the reasons for delays and lack of communication are not nefarious in nature here. To me, it appears that he wants to fulfill the project, but has hit several roadblocks, either personally or professionally (or both), that he may not want to or has trouble talking about with others (even backers). This, to me, is understandable, even if it is very frustrating. I believe we will get our rewards in time, and personally it doesn't matter that much how long I have to wait.

And reassurances may not mean much to you or many others, but they could go a long way to convince me to back again if it seems like he is prepared to the task once again.

We simply view this topic a bit differently, and that's fine.

Just got an email from Vanda that they're selling the deck - shipping immediately - on their site for 20% off. Making it even cheaper per deck than the 6 deck early bird. Not a good look.

The best part was “we had some confusion/delays with fulfillment”. More like, you couldn’t pay GW for fulfillment and then had a fire sale to scrape up enough funds to pay them.

Still waiting on my Stories update. Radio silence since November. Project was supposed to have fulfilled over a year ago now.

I’m ok with delays; I’m not ok with radio silence from creators. When you take peoples’ money, you take on that obligation. There are way too many creators out there these days to think that you can survive with that kind of attitude of nonchalance.

I received my pledge rewards today. It looks like he threw in an additional standard edition deck.
