Out of curiosity, has anyone reported to Kickstarter about this get any resolution? I'm still trying to hang on for hope of an eventual delivery.

I have filed a complaint on both Mana campaigns. Standard operational b.s. response:

"Hi there,

Thanks for reaching out and taking the time to bring this to our attention.

I’ve reached out to this creator and offered our assistance. My goal is to open the lines of communication and encourage them to update more effectively moving forward. You should continue reaching out to them on your end as well. Through this joint effort, we’ll be reminding the creator to check in.

We do our best to give project creators the freedom and support necessary to bring their new and exciting ideas to life. This often means that when projects launch on Kickstarter they’re in the early stages of development. While we encourage creators to communicate regularly through this process, it’s important to remember that each of them will approach this differently. In most cases, this may be the first time that a creator has the responsibility of communicating with a large support community. Still, we expect that creators will make every effort to complete their project as promised and keep backers updated along the way. We also hope that backers will remain understanding as everyone learns through this process.

Thanks for being a thoughtful backer and member of the Kickstarter community. I hope you hear more from the project creator soon.

Best,
Raúl"

You know a response is generic when it makes assumptions rather than observations, and that Kickstarter response is nothing but assumptions.

I just went to Erik's Mana page and saw this post:
https://www.facebook.com/ManaMagik/phot ... =3&theater" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I couldn't helped and had to post that comment.
Just in case he decided to delet it, here's what I wrote:
Here's my review:
Erik is so special... He run a Kickstarter project in August of 2014 and had the support of 662 backers, he raised a total value of $47,000 CAD to produce a deck of cards. This deck was suppose to be delivered on December of 2014, but with some delays and changes he only got the deck in August of 2015 (one year after he launched the project). From that time till now, he only shipped a small amount of deck, to some selected people and now he went completely dark, no communication not a single word of consideration to those that put their money up-front to support this project. The last time he communicated with us was to put the blame of this delay on the shipping company, which is the perfect excuse toss the responsibility to others. Now I just hope to get my decks from this very special person, who couldn't careless about the people that supported him. I hope that he have the manhood and respect for us and deliver what he promises, but at this time I hardly doubt of that, as all the signs point in the opposite direction, and most likely this CON-ARTIST will get away with my money (and others) and will still be left with the decks I paid for to resell and make more money out of it.
So yes, this guy is very special, in the sense that he has no personality responsability and no consideration for the people who supported him even not knowing him.
0 STARS.

I worry that all of this, all of our vitriol, is only making the situation worse, we are getting each other riled up and at the day I still want to get my cards. I know the whole situation is crap, and I am guilty of it myself, but we are just fueling the negative because we are frustrated or angry. Mana has had numerous successful projects, it doesn't make sense that he would turn con-artist on a project you could tell he really loved during the campaign. We don't know why things are in the state they are in now but I know fueling the fire isn't going to get me my decks and I don't want to hurt my odds at this point, which unfortunately, for whatever reason, are looking long.

This is pretty much the problem, he doesn't even bother to explain what's going on, he just sits on the decks and hope that we forget about it, but I won't. He have deleted my FB post that I mentioned above, but I'll repost it again and again... This probabily isn't the best way, but I'll keep on doing it, until I get my decks or my money.

There's some truth to this - The squeaky wheel gets the oil - but it all the wheels squeak all the time, how long till you just scrap the car?

However - even if he doesn't have a solution right now, there's no excuse not to communicate what is going on...

Things just aren't going well for Erik. I for one feel for him. He's been through an awful lot of crap, both busibess - and personal wise. "You catch more flies with honey than vinegar", so maybe the right angle for now is to see if we can help? We're not getting anywhere sitting around here carping.

Erik would get more sympathy if he actually communicated that. However, as of right now, got paid up front for something he hasn't delivered. The only thing I have to show for my $91 CAD are excuses, pictures of decks waiting to be shipped and pictures/videos of a select few who did get some of their decks.

Pretty much it!

To be honest I couldn't care less for what is going on on his personal life, I can't care or even feel for someone that has give me nothing besides taken my money and hide. If he even want some sympathy (which I hardly doubt), he should came upfront and expose what's is going on.

So just want my decks or my money... Don't give a damn about what's is going on on his life, as he clearly also doesn't give a damn about what's going on mine's.

Exactly!! We are getting nowhere. But are you really suggesting that WE do something about it?? We did our part- the rest is not up to us, it's up to Erik. Here are some indisputable facts:
We have paid for a product that has not been delivered to everyone.
The timeline in which we were all supposed to receive the product is now long overdue.
Erik has not commented since... well it's been so long that I don't even remember.
Anything we think here as to why the cards haven't been shipped is speculation.

So what are we supposed to do- take it in stride? Are we not supposed to be upset and comment? I reported this project to KS and I urge everyone else that pledged do the same. Nothing may become of it but IMO the absolute worst thing we could do is to be silent about this issue. The fact is our money is being held hostage right now without even an explanation as to why. How can anyone think we DON'T have a reason to be upset at that? Mike, I understand you might be trying to play devil's advocate and prevent a riot here but your comments on this matter are starting to poke the bear.

Exactly my thoughts on this.
I want my Cards or my money - everything beyond that is just fluff talk.
He made a promise to deliver, we kept our part by paying in front and made this deck possible with OUR money.
Geeez - i better calm down....gets me easily aggressive when i think about how we get treated.

I can't argue anything you guys are saying, except that he's a human being in deep - albeit a mess which he either created or has contributed to a great deal.

If I said "think we DON'T have a reason to be upset at that", that's not how I intended for it to come out.

Erik needs to step forward and tell us what happened, before we can even see IF there is anything we can do to help. I am willing to, I guess I am getting soft in my old age.

If I had screwed myself up tending to family first, I would hope that I handled it better, but at this point it's beyond question that he hasn't done enough (more like anything?) to even give us a reasonable way to figure out where we stand. I can't say much except that I wish he had at least let us know what was going on, right, wrong or indifferent. "Communication is the key"... There has been none. I'd love to help sort it out, but I don't see any way to do so.

Help? You're joking right? I haven't heard about any part of the Mana, as well as the Buskers campaign, which hasn't been a blatant money grab or disregard for what was promised after the end of the campaign. Erik Mana should be ashamed to call himself a man. This is no small amount of money which he has currently stolen from 2 Mana campaigns + Buskers and his posts on Twitter just continue to infuriate me. Man up you coward.

I was going to say - I talked to Dave Hofmeister (Pokerstud52) and he told me that Erik paid him and he had finished shipping Buskers, maybe a week or ten days ago, now? (maybe two weeks?)

Where are you (country)? Standard post takes up to a month to get delivered overseas, and there's not a thing anyone can do about it, since 9 times out of 10 it is customs & tax authorities holding them up.

If you are in the US, send me a PM and I will email Dave and see what happened to your decks. AFAIK those should have been delivered by now stateside for sure, and definitely have shipped overseas also.

I'm not suggesting we bend over and smile, more like try to act like people, even if the other side dropped the ball. It's not medieval times, in spite of the mess, he gets to live. What exactly happened, only Erik can say, and I didn't ask for an explanation, I just asked if there was anything that I could do to help.

I'm wondering that nobody could contact him successfully? I mean he is not a unknown man, he even has a website... How can someone disappear so effectively?

He hasn't disappeared, he's just non-responsive. Which doesn't make much difference to us, I'll concede, but apparently he's active on facebook and twitter.

Agreed.

If he needs help, frankly, he needs to help himself. Sitting around in self-pity is no way to find the light at the end of the tunnel.

What he needs to do is Get Off His Self-Pitying Ass, and mail one package today. One single package. It can be a US backer's single deck. He can pull an address out at random for all I care. He can find a few bucks to ship that. Then he needs to post to KS: "one package shipped today". That alone would be 100% better than what we are getting from him now.

Then he needs to get up and do it again tomorrow. and again the next day... and so on.

Baby steps towards completion are the only way he's going to get his spirits and momentum back up. If anyone reading this has ANY connection with Eric, this is the advice they should be giving him.
"Journey of 1000 miles" and all that...

He could already be doing this for all I know, but without communicating about it we can't know. though I think we'd be hearing about it if anyone was getting their rewards.

I do believe he will eventually deliver, but there's no way I am willing to pay twice for my shipping.
I'm willing to wait as long as it takes for him to hold up his end of the agreement, though of course we'll never be 100% whole with a delay of this extent.
Keep it Sizzlin'!

I got my Buskers (not signed when they were supposed to be) but not my signed Mana decks (part of the same pledge so who knows if he'll ever get that sorted to me), no coin, no deck boxes. So my problems are not isolated to the Mana campaign but also carry over to the Buskers one.

Well, he did it to himself.

Can anyone confirm that it's money problems holding him back from shipping? If so, I don't have any sympathy. He should get a loan, ship and pay the loan back in installments. It may sound harsh, but he had the money up front. If that's not the problem, it could have been solved through communication.

He basically ruined his card design/selling business. It's a shame. I really like his back designs especially. That's why I pledged on Kickstarter.

Yes, I wasn't able to sign the decks because once the decks arrived in Niagara they were immediately shipped. It was a small discrepancy that I was willing to take just to get the decks out to you guys immediately. Had the Niagara shipping company stopped the delivery or even taken decks off of the skids, they would have charged me an arm and a leg. There was no way I was going to let them do that to me considering the mess they've already put me in with the Sybil decks.

What the hell is this comment about?? If are going to post here that you talked with this guy at least tell us when the cards are going to be shipped. We don't need this type of comment of buddy defending buddy. You must stop with this type of coments, someone has pointed it out, this is no good for us. I would love to be on your end (the few elected people who got their decks) to also feel petty and sorry for this great man, but I ain't.

So next time please consider, before post, if your information is anyway good, otherwise keep it to yourself.

This is funny or I may not know the all story, so will approach this with careful! This message was already posted before by someone regarding the same issue, so Erik is almost using an auto replay system!
But as far as I know Pokerstud52 is the one shipping the Bruskers decks, so why is he blaming the Niagara shipping center? This guy really needs to man up and take responsability for his mistakes, he's just a joke

And he also blocked comments on his business page on facebook (https://www.facebook.com/ManaMagik/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;), so can't post my message there anymore.
Next step that I'm considering is to report the page to FB, arguing that he is trying to promote himself to rip people off as he did with the KS project. Maybe this is a bit to harsh, but if FB gets enough claims they sure may close his page. Let's see.
