^ No. I hope these aren't photoshopped, this could be my 1st Monarch deck.

I was kind of being rhetorical, the standard Monarchs are blue.

Looking at the very saturated colors in that picture, odds are it's just a photo of the standard Monarchs with some curves hiked up.
Yes, I might be the guy you remember from that thing at that place way back when.

Theory 11's brand new Other Blue Monarch deck! a totally original spin on their favorite classic deck of cards. Now in a different blue for more originality and cardness!!

I'm surprised they haven't done a purple monarch yet, with the association of purple with royalty... And this deck would look so good in a dark plum or eggplant color...

I believe the original monarchs have gold outlining, whereas these have silver. Same thing makes the silver and white monarchs different.

That's what I get from the picture. The blue looks a little lighter as well.

Yes, looks like the original photoshopped deck to me. Where do you have the image from PrincessTrouble?

Although a deep blue with silver foiling would look nice :) I personally don't mind recolors. Why not do them when the deck is succesful?

I thought the original was black instead of blue and good point of a purple color for royalty. The pic above on my computer looks dark blue but on the phone it looks royal blue.

It's only black if you are colorblind

The original tuck is dark enough to look like black, and the card backs are definitely black.

That, or I'm color blind.

Alright, true, the images are very dark on the website. If you hold it in the hand, its actually a very elegant dark blue. One of my favorite decks so far ;)

You and Rousselle made my point. Without having the deck, it looks blue. I never was that interested because the cards look/are standard mostly.

Reminds me of the Bicycle Spirit deck, it's dark blue when people who actually have it thought it was black.

They always seemed black to me. But I could maybe agree on Spirit blue.

Sure would love to see blue backs (a blue I can see as blue, lol).

The Monarchs deck is first deck I ever purchased as a collector, I bought it from a seller that said it was black, but even in the pictures it looked like a dark blue to me, and was skeptical of the purchase , to the point that I thought there were two versions and it was a really confusing time before I realized it was a dark blue deck and there wasn't a rare/LE black version I was missing out on... But the tuck and cards are a deep blue, the cards much more obviously blue than the tuck, which is a deep enough color that I can see how some could mistake it for black.

Same seller has listed and sold a Green deck with Silver foil, and another.

Interestingly all have no cellophane. So.... is he treating the foil to make it appear silver? I assume the deck inside is unchanged.

I think it is most likely photoshopped, but if it isn't, it may be a new Blue Monarchs release, just as they did with the remake of the Red Monarchs.

And to clarify the silver foil issue, if you look at the bottom left corner of the picture, the foil is definitely gold. It only appeared silver on the original first image post due to the lighting.
I doubt that Theory11 would release a new Monarchs deck with a different colored foil, considering all Monarchs up to date are pretty much recolors sporting the same gold colored foil. I don't think they'd try something new.
Gareth with his answer above may be right that people are making the foil appear silver and selling them on ebay for "reasonable" prices.

I think it's PhotoShop. The pix don't look right if you zoom in as much as you can, they appear grainy, especially around the transitions between the deck and foil.

Then again, they have a 100% rating...
