Exactly. Became available about 12:04,brick with express shipping in US is $78

Just forgrins, I used my address in Denmark, and got $27.25 for express (assumed to be Priority Mail International) shipping. That's cost.

There is also a new collectors box of 12 decks for $300.

Picked up a few, ya shipping is $27.25 to Canada, saved $0.20 on shipping Black Friday!, I think the decks really cool though, get it before its sold out and goes up in price, that's if it limited which I have no clue. but they did say "The printing and packaging process needed for this box was so time consuming and difficult that the USPC isn't able to offer this box finish type to anyone in the future."

The $400 brick box is a good deal if you don't have the Create Magic deck yet. But already sold out.

The max it would allow in cart is 458 bricks, so either they already sold almost half of the run if they did 10,000 decks or they aren't putting them all up.

Yeah. I tried putting in a 1000 just to see what happened and it reduced it to 458.

Now it is saying 541. Haha my theory has no basis I guess... I'm not sure how the shopping cart system works. You would think it would be pretty simple but maybe not. I got a couple bricks though because I only got one brick of the green gators when those came out and I sold those really fast and wish I still had one or two around.

Good point. Before his store was shut down it said the Black Gators were sold out and now those popped back up. It's pretty smart business actually... Release a portion of them-show they are sold out-drive up market value on ebay-bring them back but then you can charge double what they were before.

Anyone thinking about picking up any of the Clips? Anyone going to drop $275 on that gator clip?

This has caused problems in the past. I am not surprised to see them Code around one person locking up all the stock.

Any Canadians willing to part with a deck or two? I would consider buying for the right price or even trade.

$8.50 to Norway. I thought all international mail from the US was the same price? Not that I'm complaining, and I never understood how shipping to the UK and Australia should be the same amount anyway. This just struck me as odd compared to past experience.

I always thought Blaine's decks were among the best values in cardistry. Great design, excellent quality, and reasonable prices. I remember a few years ago when DB sold his Split Spades Lions (still among my favorite decks) for $3.50 per deck when you bought them in bricks, what a value - especially in light of what they're going for now on eBay. Now that Blaine is using GW for fulfillment, you can add in super fair shipping rates, definitely a win-win for all.

Flat Rate Priority Mail International is the same, but first class or by weight is not.

I bought 3 single decks that were marked originally $10 and marked down to $7, not $8. Were they higher outside the US?

Also I paid $6.50 shipping for 3 decks which is only about $1.25 over cost. Far better than my previous purchases from DB.

When midnight arrived and the Black Lions weren't showing up, I was like "dear god, not the red gators again!". I was partially comatose, gravy running through my veins so I couldn't hold up much longer with the F5'ing.

I think he's referring to the current price now being $8, not the $10 it was marked down from.

Indeed, I personally cannot understand this business move, what do have DB it to gain other than pissing off his loyal customers ?

I bought three bricks because of the way these usually get cleared out and the price that they go up to. Saving $3 bucks a deck makes this a must have for me, but saving $1... I could have waited. I still think they look awesome and I did the design, but I have to agree, very strange business move.
