Well, I'll hype it myself: Wohoooooooooooooo!!! More Voltige!!!!!! Yeaaahhhhh!!!!
Done. I'll come back in a couple days to keep it up.
The reason why some of us aren't excited to see another Voltige edition is because of the problems of the first edition decks. The ridiculous hype for the first decks even exceeded the Bucks' dubious standards when the design of the court cards were claimed to have been hand-drawn from scratch, when in fact, they are almost exact duplications of existing vintage French courts.
Then you had the completely impractical tucks. When you opened up a new deck, it was a project in it of itself because of the poorly executed perforations you had to break through to open the side tuck, along with the perforated deck seals that didn't always align with the tuck's perforations. And because it was so difficult to open and close the side tuck, you had the box prematurely wear out, particularly at the back hinge of the tuck. This tuck design was so bad that D&D completely ditched it for regular tucks that opened at the top for their second editions.
Everyone's taste's and opinions vary, and there are a few, like you, who apparently loved the Voltige decks. Good for you, you probably won't have too much competition buying these new Voltige decks...
