They are a bit large.vasta41 wrote:I like almost everything about this deck except the indices. They just somehow seem out of place.
I'm actually the opposite, I like the additional depth the blue deck has, although in the end I like the pair together! The red deck, in my opinion, has courts reminiscent of the style used in the Viridian deck, one of kardify's projects. The blue deck has this grim and ancient feel to it, which really brings out the Egyptian theme.PrincessTrouble wrote:I'm digging the red deck, but not so much the blue. Still, I'm in for an EB pair.
Not sure if there's have been any other update but in the one announcing the red tuck:PrincessTrouble wrote:Technically, it's not ONLY a tuck swap. The cards inside are red unlike the white deck or black deck. So tuck swap + recolor.
This tuck houses the Red Scarab Decks, and is adorned with some high-end Bicycle features that's sure to catch everyone's attention.
Interesting. I specifically asked in the KS comments on the update if the tuck housed the white faced cards or black faced cards. Scott replied, "Hi Andrea, this one is the red decksms69x wrote:Not sure if there's have been any other update but in the one announcing the red tuck:PrincessTrouble wrote:Technically, it's not ONLY a tuck swap. The fun thing is to buy off their own eBay store. I picked up all the 'Get Made' tuck swaps (Stork Club, Cotton Club, Empire and Kingpin 'ULE') for much less than they charged on KS a few months ago.jerichoholic wrote:Yeah i'm no longer backing these projects. Yeah, I was a little peeved when I saw the Full Moon decks available online for 10buck less than I paid for on KS less than 2 months after I received my decks.Gareth wrote:The fun thing is to buy off their own eBay store. I've already told this before he sells his decks on ebay for less than he asks on KS, this guy is one that I decided not to support anymore some projects ago, besides his projects are just tuck swaps over tuck swaps, when I contacted him confronting with the fact that he sells his decks on ebay for less money than he asked on KS he tried to get excuses, and avoid the question... So a big NO MORE to Crooked Kingsshermjack wrote:Yeah, I was a little peeved when I saw the Full Moon decks available online for 10buck less than I paid for on KS less than 2 months after I received my decks.Though I do like this deck more than the Full Moon decks, I will also wait until after the project is done and then decide whether I will pick up a pair.
If this is true than there's no way that business model (if that's what you want to call it) will last. The more people that become aware of this, the less people will fund their projects. And if their projects don't fund, they won't have decks to sell for cheaper on ebay...sms69x wrote: I've already told this before he sells his decks on ebay for less than he asks on KS...
I totally agree with you! I just hope that he stops this. I not the kind of person that likes to pay higher value for something that I could get for less. Not to mention that you put your money upfront so he can produce the deck. So there's really no advantage in supporting this guy.vasta41 wrote:If this is true than there's no way that business model (if that's what you want to call it) will last...sms69x wrote: I've already told this before he sells his decks on ebay for less than he asks on KS...
Again, if this is true, the way I would look at it is the backers of the project are being punished for being the sole reason the project succeeded in the first place while the non-supporters reap the benefits of lower prices! It's would be like if a president got elected and lowered the taxes for all the people who didn't vote for him. ...among other analogies.sms69x wrote:I totally agree with you! If his projects stop funding maybe then he changes his "busibess model" until then I'll be more than happy to wait for the decks to hit ebay.
I won't say they are being punished, but I would say that there's no real advantage in supporting this guy, besides the special limited tuck swaps editions, that I believe there was one or two that didn't hit ebay as he sold all in the KS. So if that's a good reason for a supporter to back him, then I guess that's a advantage as any other...vasta41 wrote: Again, if this is true, the way I would look at it is the backers of the project are being punished for being the sole reason the project succeeded in the first place while the non-supporters reap the benefits of lower prices!
