3D Mechanical Playing Card, Version No.2 | 27th Nov. | KS

Unread post by sms69x »

On Black Friday November 27th 2015, you will have access to the latest version of the popular 3D Mechanical Playing Card deck Version No.2. There are four styles to choose from.
The 1st 3D deck design was limited to 2500 and was a hit among collectors. Those card decks raised over $140k on Kickstarter Oct. 23rd 2013. I am now releasing a newly designed mechanism for the remaining stock of card decks I have in inventory. Although the card deck is the same, the metal mechanism is different to maintain the value and collectability of the 1st deck.
If you purchased a set last year, you know the type of quality to expect and how fast they will go. Be apart of playing card history again and grab your self V2 of the Mechanical Playing Card 3D Card Deck.

Much as I like it, it's the same pack of cards and essentially the same Mechanical tuck

Sure the centrepiece is tweaked, (and maybe the paint), there are a few more "rivet" holes and "No.2" is stamped on the front - but it's not different enough for me to justify buying version 2.

I wish Dale luck though - I like his art style very much!

Since I missed version 1, I'll happily jump in on this.

I guess it depends on the price tag.
Is he going to offer the frame for the deck again this time?

If it's different than the first campaign, I may back. I'm not really into very high priced tuck boxes. For my tastes the v1's weren't for me, maybe v2 will be. Going to have to wait what happens.
TL:DR It's completely up to you.
We can still be friends.
I actually like playing cards.

Worst possible timing for the campaign, because unless it's less than 30 days it will run from Thanksgiving right over Christmas. I have a v2 prototype with hematite jewels, might just watch, since I have the trio of v1 versions.

While I certainly like my V1 deck I have for the tuck, I'll probably pass on this project. Now if the cards are interesting as well then I might consider because the updated tuck alone is not enough.
