The tuck is awfully similar to Spirit but I like this overall.

White and red tuck looks gorgeous. GW is in this so I'm anticipating what those stretch goals will be.

With GW 's projects, I always start off with a one deck pledge.

I have not seen black gilding before and so the idea of it is intriguing, but I think I might prefer gold in this instance.

I, for one, would be interested in seeing what black gild looks like

Black backs with black gilding may look weird.

Will look unique that's for certain. I think it's something that could stand out in a pretty impressive way. A lot of potential for black gilded decks really. I hope the test run is a win and looking forward to hearing their findings.

It could be that black gilding would make it look like the deck has black card stock.

I think tomorrow we'll be seeing an update about the gilded editions being available. Funding is going well on these. My wallet is feeling a little bruised this month so I hope they're not too expensive as I'll try to be in for the limit. Whatever that may be.

Black gilding doesn't look sexy at all. Looks like someone took a marker and just colored the sides.

Gilding a non metal can be a difficult process and it is more expensive because it adds three more steps to the process. Props to Gamblers for giving it a shot and it coming out so well. While I disagree it doesn't look like someone took a marker to it, a sharpie won't have the glittery effect it'll just be matte. The only black gilding I've seen that had similar properties to what people are used to seeing with gilding here has been a dark smoke grey, gun metal kind of color and still somewhat glittery. I think Gamblers did a very nice job on a deep black gild attempt my hat's off to them for it.
Hat back on, because I just got hit with five updates from past campaigns about Gentleman playing cards haha.

Safe to say most gilded sets will be close to $50 for us US backers.

I stare and I squint but I can't get the face to look right. It's just a weird shaped blob to me. Happy with my current pledge.

The hat is covering the upper face, and the black areas below the chin is his beard. Took a while to get it right though.
Saw these in Portfolio 52, hope to receive them soon!
