These are gorgeous cards..only problem is i`m a backer of both his original steampunk deck and his New Worlds decks and both still have yet to be fulfilled.
I pledged for now ...but keeping an eye on developments on the other decks.

Also, thickass borders are definitely not cool. You'd think designers would make their borders thinner to show off more art!

Sure this is a very nice looking deck! But will not pledge until I see progress on his last deck.
One thing I love is that he actually shows how he f*cks international backers on shipping! Gotta love that!

So his Kingdom of a New World has not been fulfilled yet. It funded Nov 24th 2013. He has had 2 other successful Kickstarters that also need to be fulfilled. A mediocre deck and Kingdom of the New World take 2. Now he wants to make a 4th open Kickstarter. Finalized artwork and payment to the USPCC should been done back in December of 2013. January at most if he had to go back and forth with USPCC about the artwork. I'm just saying be careful. How many open Kickstarters do you need for a red flag? To me, this Kickstarter screams I need shipping money quick.

This is another mediocre deck with faults.

The Ace is a pip card. It's a special card. It can be "1-way" and you can make it bigger and embellish it, but what it doesn't need is a suit indicator. Suit indicators are reserved for the courts especially if you have non traditional courts.

The transitions should be better and the artwork is just plain.

THIS! Exactly. Apparently, even though art was shown throughout the campaign, it took the artist, Jonas, I believe, some months to finish, but supposedly the artwork was approved some time ago. Then the "part 2" campaign raised another 20k or so, on top. This deck should have been done, finished, shipped and enjoyed by hundreds by now.

as of now, Kingdoms is TWO months late, and according to the update, they still haven't finalized the contract, but decks are supposed to arrive by the end of October? Starting to smell a little fishy over there.

I too agree about the borders and aces and I also agree that he should fulfill his previous 3 projects before doing this one. I don't see why he's in a rush to launch this one before the others are complete.

I have even suggested that he cancel this and relaunch later on as right now his project funding isn't looking too good and probably won't do too good. I myself have changed my mind and cancelled this for the time being. If he gets the Kingdoms decks delivered before the project ends then I may pledge again.

As far as the shipping is concerned $9 is about what I would pay to get 1 deck shipped to Canada if i'm lucky so I think his international rates are fine for the most part.

You are absolutely right! But don't forget that built in the deck price is already shipping for US, so in reality you're paying your shipping plus US shipping! And that's a nice way for the creator to make some extra money. And they'll keep on doing this until we (international backers) stop backing their projects.

I can understand having one project yet to be fulfilled and running another campaign. I can not understand having two. Could be the worlds greatest deck and I wouldn't back it if they had two other unfulfilled decks on their backlog. They make it an extremely easy choice for me by doing that.

Any speculation what held up their ability to even print the Kingdom of a New World? Was it just laziness? Art was approved by USPCC update happened in June, six months after funding.

Technically speaking it's 3 projects since he did Kingdoms twice.

I could not ship a package (one deck) from the US Internationally for $9 - rather $11.50 is the best rate the postal will give me online and even more as a walk-in. The International shipping rates do take into account the domestic portion built into the pledge

Well I see Nathaniel posted an update but he completely ignored the issues everyone has been presenting regarding the previous projects. He also never responded to the comments I posted regarding this nor to the message I sent him. I even responded to his post on Facebook and got no response.

So now he's potentially ignoring people and not responding to comments, yeah doesn't sound too suspicious. I would stay away until he proves himself worthy of more of our money!

I think this is a decent looking deck but finding out that he's late on delivering rewards for a couple of his funded projects definitely raises a flag for me. I'm gonna pull my pledge and if this deck gets funded and I still want it, I'll just pick it up from Gambler's or some other retailer.

I like the colour scheme and artwork, but I do agree with the Sproutinator that the transition device is a little obvious and clumsy (especially since the designs for KoaNW transition so nicely)

I agree timing is definitely an issue here. Reassurance that the first deck is in the print queue is all well and good, but knowing you are rasining money when money still has to be spent on shipping and so on raises real concerns...

Hello everyone.

I am subscribed to a British version of the Deck of the Month Club similar to Dan and Dave's but as I live in the UK it does not deliver to UK. This is the deck I received last month so its very surprising that a person that didn't even back for the deck is receiving one before the backers do. Sounding quite fishy all ready.

Has anyone here received this? And am I the only one that doesn't understand the partnership with Albino Dragon? Seems like few people have gotten their decks aside from them. I don't understand how Albino became involved with them nor why.
