PUT A BIRD ON IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Actually, I am quite interested in the shirts even though I haven't pledged for a deck yet. Jackson's typically done a good job making shirts that a playing card related without looking just like a playing card or overly 'nerdy'. The variations of standard courts isn't enough to pull me in, but the gilded and the shirts are making me think about it...

LOL totally. So does my daughter. "Daddy, Daddy, you need to make a little birdie deck!" At least 3 times a day.Eoghann wrote:I want a shirt with the little birdie.

How silly that would be. Much better to have a shirt with the Blue Lacy.Eoghann wrote:I want a shirt with the little birdie.
Just kidding. I'd pledge for one of each.

Jackson - I don't know. Emmanuel has the birdies for a while unless you want to experiment. Master of the Playing Card liked animal pips. He pushed for it. I'm just wondering, if Emmanuel will change from his semi-tranformationsl theme into something else... I[m sure we will see some exciting things in the future. He knows the USPCC cut border very well.

Jackson - Noticed you have pictures of your new screen prints on your last past 2 updates as computer images. Do you have any sexy pictures of real past screen prints?

If you look at the 3rd image, It seems the flag should be turn around to match the other flags. It makes more sense. Attention to detail people.

Re: Texas from KWP now funding on Kickstarter
come on Sprouts, you're a Texan you should know better. The Texas Flag just like the American Flag, if hung vertically the Stars / Top of the flag should always be on the top left. The other flags don't follow that rule.sprouts1115 wrote:If you look at the 3rd image, It seems the flag should be turn around to match the other flags. It makes more sense. If these were commissioned by No. 4 St. James, I wonder why they had to be Kickstarted. In any case, I'm very much looking forward to receiving these here in the Alamo City!

So mad I had to cancel my pledge for this. Sucks that it's only going to be available at that StJames thingy.

Re: Texas from KWP now funding on Kickstarter
Them are some nice Horizontal Seals. Can we call them that? I do like the idea of having a unique deck with a number and still be able to look at the deck. I'm pretty sure we can tell when a deck is used. The Tax stamp seal is so obsolete. I've researched some and horizontal seals have been used in the past in playing cards. I'm starting to think everything has already been invented in one form or another, It's just improved. Look up the battery. It's older than what we think.sms69x wrote:Some development!

I'm sure 100 years for now when a Jackson's deck comes up for auction it will command a good price especially from his early works...

Re: Texas from KWP -- FUNDED on KS
Good News
The good news is I have received the un gilded and white players editions of the Texas decks and they turned out incredible. The tucks are beautiful, the cards are incredibly printed by USPCC, and the cut is just as good as you have come to expect from USPCC.
The Bad News
Unfortunately there was a very small error in one of the cards that sadly effects the playability of the deck. USPCC and I have already scheduled reprint of the single card. This unfortunately will delay the delivery date of your rewards. Once I have the corrected card I will then ship out all of the rewards including the corrected card. There will be no "Reprint Kickstarter" nor will there be any extra cost to you for the corrected card. I will be paying for the reprint out of my own pocket. I was really excited about delivering this project on time and in time for the Holidays. USPCC really worked hard to get the decks to me in time for the holidays. I am really sorry for the error and am and will do everything I can to resolve the problem.
That's a bummer. One thing that I really disliked about the Altruism deck was that separate Queen. I'm probably in the minority, but I would have rather waited for a corrected deck than get the deck sooner with a corrected card.

Totally understandable. However I am only reprinting the single card rather than the entire deck.PrincessTrouble wrote:Good News

Jackson, does this affect the gilded/legacy? As in, separate gilded cards"JacksonRobinson wrote:

I understand. Backers will receive an original cello wrapped deck with the error card and extra correct card in addition. There is no way for me to re cello the decks if I were to open them. Once decks leave USPCC they will not accept incoming shipments like that for liability reasons.PrincessTrouble wrote:True, I meant a cellophane-wrapped corrected deck.4.of.Clubs wrote:But a deck with a corrected card is a corrected deck.PrincessTrouble wrote: That's a bummer. Was this a USPCC error? If so, I'd imagine you could probably force them to re-cello with the right card.JacksonRobinson wrote: I understand. I would assume it wasn't, or else Jackson would not be the one paying for reprinting the error card. But I could be wrong, I hear the USPCC has some great lawyers4.of.Clubs wrote:Was this a USPCC error? Re: Texas from KWP -- FUNDED on KS
I've asked several times in the comments on the KS updates, but have gotten no response. Does anyone know if we'll get GILDED corrected cards with our gilded decks?
