I'm on the fence as well. I noticed there was no early birds for this one.

It's a marked deck. The colors extend to the cut border. Pretty boring they used red for the BackOfCard. So, it's red on red and red on blue.

Johnny Whaam here, creator of Bellezza deck.

Just wanted to say I appreciate comments and thanks to all supporters of my design. It's a great design that I love and while I was doing it I knew it's something really special. A luxury feel of card design with a very nice idea of red and blue courts (suits actually, cause number cards are also red and blue). All custom courts and pips, very (very!!) different than standard, but with the same (better ;) ) feel of classic courts.

The gold back, in my opinion is perfect. One of my best. (Right up there with my Elegance back)

I don't see how it's a marked deck, unless you decide to show the face card to the other player :D

It's been a good funding trend for this deck, hope it stays that way cause I really would like to have this one in my collection. Hope most of you guys would. It's very close to the funding goal with a week left for funding so if anybody wants to jump on board, I appreciate it so much. You will love this deck once you have it in your hands, I'm sure.

As sprouts said, it's a marked deck because the colors extend to the cut border, which will most likely make it possible to distinguish red and black (blue) cards when looking at the sides of the deck.

Still sitting on the fence. Hopefully we could see these courts again in a different deck.

@ MagikFingerz

I understand what you mean, but...I have my Elegance deck(s) now on my table, same face cards in both decks but different back, one is black the other is white (max possible difference then) and I mixed them together. I am looking at the mixed deck right now (half black, half white cards), with the deck sitting on the table (deck is still) it is impossible to distinguish that some cards might have different backs (or faces, would be in Bellezza design, same thing). All this under realistic play conditions.

I agree, If you put the deck in your eye level in pefect conditions and look real closely, you might be able to see the inside edges are not all the same color. But that happens with every deck that has various artwork extending to the edges or with decks that don't have solid color but have a "dirty" face or other designs, patterns, some have maps on them, or designs that reveal a pic when you put cards in order side by side etc. (for example, live on KS, Da Vinci deck, or Beetle Royale, Mythical etc.).
In realistic play conditions (and I emphasize...realistic), that doesn't reveal anything.

You will not be able to detect what card, what suit is dealt especially impossible to tell if it's court or not (after all half of deck has red, half has blue borders).

And lastly and most important, when holding card fan in hands, or fan on table...it is impossible (!!) to tell which card has blue or red faces. Cannot be done for sure. (I am looking at my mixed Elegance decks right now, faces up on table, backs down (cause the backs are black...and white)..., there is absolutely no difference between one card and the other. The inside edge, black or white cannot be visible, is not visible. No way to tell which has black which white back.)

This is what my little experiment with Elegance cards tells me, I still respect different opinions...and thank you guys for taking time to read my (so far) not so short posts ;)

My biggest pet peeve with custom playing cards is when front borders don't match back borders. It just jangles my optic nerve.

As half of Bellezza front borders does match the back border (the other half is just in a different color), then I guess here... only 50% of optic nerve will be jangled ;)
