Pardon the bluntness, but that's just terrible. That show deserves so much more in a deck of cards.

Seriously, I can't imagine this won't get pulled pretty quickly.
The Royal Wilderness (Castle Back) deck had to change it's name and remove all references to Game of Thrones.

This one also uses images for the houses that HBO created and the design on the Joker is from a coin by Shire Post Mint.

Hey! He doesn't show any court cards, but with the look of the theme he doesn't have too. His back of card is "1-way" and will be seen in the fan. Not a very good deck.

this deck is funded - so the backers will be charged - but the deck will not be printed - so 96 people will be out their money.

MPC will make "Realm of Cards" sign an agreement that says all the art is 100% his... and it isn't. All the symbols (wolf head, hydra etc) are all clipped and pasted and are the property of HBO

I asked the deck creator if he had permission from HBO to use their licensed images and do you know what he told me....?

Nothing.

Get ready for either a lawsuit if the deck is printed, or 100 angry bacers

Given that the designer plagiarized the art and is using licensed material, I'm very surprised that this project has been allowed to continue. Going to report it right now.

There's lots of stuff on etsy and ebay that doesn't get shut down. Sometimes I think it comes down to whether or not someone cares enough to report it. I do know that Shire Post Mint asked them to remove the Joker design and they complied.

@dragonsoul it is certainly weird, it looks like thia guy is selling quite a few decks at a high price, troublefree...
@steve you mean the campaign guy or the Etsy one?
Anyway, both questionable at least!

Dark Horse owns the contract to print the licensed cards, they would care the most about this activity, but at only a grand.... probably nobody cares. The people who we should tell is MPC - they need to know NOT to print - he may lie on his statement that the artwork is 100% his
