A little background on this upcoming Kickstarter project.
The images above are from the current preview page for the campaign. The first image is the first frame of a 28 minute long fractal animation video called "FloWith It". All of the artwork for backer card decks will originate from this video. The second image is of the sample deck I received from one of the two printers selected... the other printer is USPCC, and I am still waiting on the sample to arrive. All USPCC decks are Bicycle Branded. The third image is a collection of potential card back designs selected from various points in the video. This collection also shows how a design which would normally be one-way can be converted to a two-way back design if desired.
I wanted to put the limit back into "Limited Edition" card decks... and since I am always pushing the boundaries, I decided to make the backer's card deck reward for this project limited to the individual backer... that is, each an every backer will be able to select from the 50,400 frames which make up the video, and make that their unique backer reward artwork as well as card back design.

EDIT: Stan quick question for you. So for discussion sake let's assume only 50 people pledge at the $36 level choosing the USPCC as the printer. Obviously everyone would have a unique back but would USPCC let you print 50 decks?? I thought minimums for decks were 2500 in quantity.. can you elaborate?

Yes, I can get individual decks printed by USPCC - Bicycle branded. I am going through a third party who has had a long standing agreement with USPCC for one-off deck printing at around $20 a deck... I ordered my first deck through them early last year (2014). Anyone interested in knowing who the third party is can private message me, but please do not reveal this information until after the Kickstarter has ended since the project is about funding Video On Demand distribution of my artwork and not promoting the third party.badpete69 wrote:Stan quick question for you.
