I love cardistry, but at the moment it is getting boring. I've always loved seeing card mechanics do what they do and i would like to start working my way through expert at the card table. However, i am in need of a close up pad and was wondering if anyone could post a link of a relatively cheap pad. (Im not looking for anything overly large).

Re: close up pads
I think I bought mine at Ellusionist some time long ago, so that's probably not the cheapest one.
It's really great to have one though, as it adds another dimension to your card handling whether it's magic or cardistry.

Re: close up pads
i have the victorian close up pad from DD.. too expensive and too small for that price.. i just use it as a background when i take some photo of playing cards..
i have the magic mat which is bigger than the victorian close up pad, it's pretty nice..
i hear that the best for close up mat from ronjo..

Re: close up pads
Check out magictrickstore.com or a few other magic retailers. They usually carry matts on the cheaper side. Also, if you are really trying to save money do a little research on making your own close up pad. It is not difficult.
