I'm in for a pair of these for now, and I've just invited Keith Glover, the Creator of this deck to stop by here to discuss his deck; so let's hope he joins us here soon.

These are ok. Would have loved to see them be 2 way courts is all.

Then I would have maybe been more into them.

I don't think these being one-way is a fail. I think there is far too much empty space.

Oh yeah I don't think its a fail either but to me it just doesn't feel like a deck design. More like a deck that someone had dropped some pictures they have in them. (yes I know its similar but not the same...)

I guess I'm saying it is a deck, but doesn't feel like one designed to be a deck, more a deck made to show off someones images.

If you know what I'm saying....

Hello everyone!

Thank you so much for taking the time to view my Kickstarter project, it means a lot to me that people are showing an interest in my designs.

@HudsonDesign I did think long and hard about making them 2 way and you can tell that mostly by the design of the King. The reason I didn't was because I spent so much time on the small details I was afraid it would get lost if I made them small enuff to put 2 on a page. That said I am going to make some mock ups of the 2 way and post it on the kickstarter page to get people opinion about this. It may fill up the cards a bit more as Cbkimble was saying.

Personally I was going to a simple clean look for the design and was really trying to get away from cluttering up the face cards. I'll give it a shot tho and see wha tit looks like.

Thank you so very much for your feedback!

IMHO. Artworks are nice, but not playing cards. This is that case when one way courts don’t work nice. Somehow they really look like pictures… beautiful ones, but pictures not playing cards. It could be nice as several pictures for CAP deck, but not for this author's deck.

Indices can be taken out of frames.

The designer is right – symmetry will ruin those small details on faces of courts. There is one radical approach. But I doubt in its success on Kickstarter. Double the size of the cards.

Anyway, good luck. Artworks are nice.

What i'm curious about is him selling light and dark versions but is only showing us 1 version, why not show the other version? Also if he is in fact producing 2 decks through the USPC then I think his goal might be a bit low for that, especially being that it is CAD.

This deck has a lot of great things to it. I can get behind well crafted one-way court art - but the way the images don't match the faded/weathered look of the cards is what is holding me from pledging for more than a single deck.

The AoS and back of card are both fantastic, the bright courts on a different deck I would think are great as well ...

I like the art style. I think a little more work needs to go into fitting the images in more uniformly. Some cards have a lot more white space than others.

Unfortunately jokers will often make or break a deck for me. And this joker definitely breaks it for me. It isn't that the art on it is bad as I stated before I think the style is good. I just really don't like the look of the joker character. 1. His outfit looks more modern than that of the other characters. 2. he looks like a punk.

I really like this deck but the shipping cost more than doubles the price...
