Ooh, love the color on the Underworld deck! Will definitely be there :)

One thing that caught my attention though, why would the back of the box and actual back design have different color helmets? Seems like an unnecessary discrepancy.

EDIT: For the record, I prefer the yellow/gold helmets over the white ones.

This is what he posted in the KS update

Based on your opinions, I decided to make the tuck backside feature the forward facing helmet design a gold color. Foil gold would be used if we reach the stretch goal.

Ugh, I really don't like it when they make the back design on the box look better than it ever could on the actual cards. It's overshadowing.

Same here but at least these *could* be foiled. I'm psyched that a seemingly well done Greek gods themed deck is being created! I love everything about these decks and I hope every streach goal is reached. :ugdance:

This was also in the update about the card backs.

"The Olympia card backs will feature a white version of the helmet to allow it to pop more! It'll look great when fanning the cards as well as dealing and doing magic tricks".
"When I like something, I buy. No matter who did it, how many were printed or how many (re)colors exist.

When I don't like something, I pass. No matter who did it, how many were printed or how many (re)colors exist."

Ok, that's just ridiculous. The helmets are center elements, to be able to see them when fanning you'd have to only use like 10 cards

I misread the earlier post. I thought it would be gold helmets on both with gold foil on the tuck and metallic ink on the cards. Why NOT this?

Hey Steve can you elaborate what kind of deck that $1000 pledge gets you?

EDIT: Ok saw your answer in the comments section. It's the Golden Fleece deck... Thanks

That was exciting. Ten minutes late and I missed out on the 2 deck tier. That's okay. I got in on the one deck EB. I really like the Underworld deck and was happy to see that it was going to available as a stretch add on. I'm usually not much for t-shirts, coins, and dice but I really like the look of these so I upped my pledge accordingly. I used to love Greek myths as a kid also and I think Steve really captured the feel with these. Now I'm just going to sit back and watch the KS counter click over. Way to go, Steve.

Does anyone else see exactly how much of the empire decks are in these. Specifically bloodlines?

Not trying to be difficult and I know the them is technically similar, but even non theme related elements seem almost exactly the same in some places....

Must be just me then....

The blue aces, especially the heart, the pips... the stripe on the tuck middle, the back and the warrior.....

As I said. Must be just me but when I saw it I thought it was a LeeMac deck....

Well, I see that both have a small squarish place centered on left & right sides, but I just look at the aces and see nothing similar at all. The Warrior clip bears a slight resemblance to the helmet on the back, but how can two people use a helmet and then not look like helmets? (and we're comparing a card clip to the back design) Lee is a good bud, if I saw something I would agree, but I just don't.

Per his most recent KS update:
A lot of you have been asking about splitting your pledges with the Underworld deck so I am here to clarify. Due to the nature of unlocking the Underworld Deck early, you can only add it on.
What the hell kind of BS is this? I for one am pissed- no other KS (that I recall) has ever done this.

I am also stuck with two Olympia decks and have to up my pledge to get the Underworld. Not happy, for sure.
But, even if far from ideal, think it like this: if it wasn't for this solution, the Underworld deck wouldn't be unlocked and you would still have only Olympia deck. It's true that now we are being pushed to complete the set, but I am not sure if this campaign is truly aimed at collectors...

Every deck I open makes your sealed one more valuable. You're welcome.

You'd think $35,000 could cover a second print run though. I mean if edgybros can do three decks with $32K...

Even Omnia is at $30K+ with three decks and most of the bells and whistles. noimsayin'?

I respectfully disagree. If it weren't for people like us pledging for more than one deck when the project starts, second addon stretch goal decks wouldn't be funded. I'm not going to wait around and see if the deck is going to be unlocked. I'm actually going to let my pledge reflect it and put my money where my mouth is. I never thought doing that would put me in a tight spot.

I will say this- I messaged Steve and I think we will come to a mutual agreement. I just hope this is an anomaly and not a new trend with future Kickstarters.
