YES YES!!! Please do this it would be amazing :)

thank you so very much! Your ideas are truly appreciated.

Scribbles were tried and discarded - no pun intended :-) along with many other ideas. The floating suits motif was clearly the best in the end. From the positive comments I’ve received, it’s a winner. Both sides of the deck are rich and complex, and the simple suit theme is a joyful visually surprise, a tribute to Leonardo's playful spirit. It's like you remarked... “it blends well” which is just the touch we are looking for inside the tuck!

Thanks again to both of you for your interest and support.

kind regards,

I have been helping my father out these last couple of days and wow, what a run! We are now at USPCC printing and that is so great. I was so happy with them printing my GLITCH cards.

To celebrate achieving this goal I wanted to share with you one of strongest cards in my opinion. Its a rather simple drawing coming from Leonardo. A hanged man. A sight in those times that sadly wasn’t rare. It is believed that the man portrayed here was a priest.

Jokers traditionally depict a more joyful image, of a juggler or a clown, I think my father has done a wonderful job with his two choices for jokers, the chained criminal / beggar and the hanged priest. They are such a grotesque portrait of the times. Haunting!

Last year, USPCC didn't approve this:

Because of your generous support, I will be able to print Leonardo | Edition Gold and Edition Silver with USPCC and satisfy the demand from museum shops, magic stores, dealers and collectors. A big thank you to every backer!

I have wonderful news! I am releasing Leonardo | Edition Platinum today!

There will only be 1000 decks of Edition Platinum. Maximum of four decks per backer please, to ensure some for everyone. Please private message me after adding to your pledge, so I can reserve your deck(s). This is especially important for the uncut sheets as they are extremely limited and will go quickly!

Leonardo | Edition Platinum will be printed by Legends Playing Card Company. Please check out all the details in the images below or in the project’s story. Private message me if you have any questions!

My dad is super busy with the last hours of the campaign as you can easily imagine… As Leonardo is such a success, I dropped my other work and I am helping him out with all the admin stuff. The final page also has to be done, getting everything ready before the last hour strikes.

We’ll post Platinum courts in the days (and weeks) following, in upcoming The Leonardo Sunday Times, which is backers only. Yes, Platinum is a gilded, limited edition. And soon sold out :)

The Leonardo campaign is in it’s very last hours... What an amazing journey!

I just wanted to take a few minutes and thank all of you here on UC for your great support, critiques and questions! And to those many UCardists who said hello on KS, a very heartfelt and special thanks to you... some of my earliest supporters!

After a brief period of sleep(!), something I have not had much of the last 30 days, Leonardo production begins!

If you’re a backer, you will get my weekly (and famous!) Leonardo Sunday Times in your mailbox… and I will also post images and more here in the forum regularly in the next months.

Once again, thanks to all of you, I’m glad to be a part of this community. If you have any comments or questions please do PM me or write here or on KS.

kind regards,

I don't know if anyone else pledged for the fire print and Gold edition Queen art cards but if so have you gotten them? I sent a message to Dent but I didn't want to bug him again.

Yes, my Queens arrived safely two days ago... they're really very good, well presented, (even the postal envelope is a Cracker ! ! ! )
Posting foto's is too arcane an allowance for me, thus do I fail. Sorry.

Thank you good sir. I am still waiting. This has been a nearly perfect campaign/post campaign with the sole exception of no tracking.

PS You round about way of expressing yourself is quite amusing. Especially when I am stressed at work. :ugdance:

Humour are Contagion.
I hope.
Sent from Bern via Swiss Post, Mns. du Midi also works out of San Francisco thru his new Art Playing Cards concern.
The Leonardo Book is shaping up to be a fitting finale to this project.
Not hard to tell that I'm sold on his work, he's covering some ground.
Good on him.
Hope your Ladies arrive as well presented as mine.

I got my Gold deck today, added it and uncuts to Portfolio52, hopefully somebody who has the ACTUAL Silver deck adds it soon (http://www.portfolio52.com/decksearch?qry=leonardo).

These are easily one of the top few decks I've gotten this year and in top 20 decks I own. I'm really impressed with the style and artwork. Legends quality as well, what's not to love? If only I had more room for uncuts I would have got one as well.

I'm glad to hear somebody has gotten an actual deck. I has been a while since he posted that fulfillment had started, but I haven't seen or heard of anyone gettng any decks yet. I'm looking forward to recieving my decks because I'm particularly curious to see how the gilding came out on the Platinum deck since I don't own a gilded deck from LPCC/EPCC yet.

Just received the decks. Isn't the limited edition supposed to be a gilded deck? Maybe I misunderstood because my English is not good...

You mean the Platinum Edition? Sounds like it to me, but it doesn't specify edge gilded so you could argue it is similar to foiled. I didn't get it so can't say anything more.
Specifications: Midnight black tuck with black-on-black inks, foil Jack, embossed details. Sealed with a custom designed, perforated stamp. The cards will be printed on ultra-smooth paper stock, gilded, coated with an iridescent finish.
Also, Portfolio52 still needs entries for Silver and Platinum (I only have Gold and added it already), if somebody has scans to share here I can add. Otherwise if anybody has access in P52 to contribute and has the decks please add them. Thanks.
