To be perfectly frank, when he showed me the teaser last year(and swore me to secrecy), I thought it was a brand new design. So I'd be lying if I'm not a teeny, tiny bit let down.

But Calaveras is among my all time favorite decks, so I'm definitely excited!

until the creator closes it. Most of the time, the creator gives a deadline. If not, message Chris and he'll let you know. You also won't get charged until it's shutdown.

And to be fair, you don't even have to use backerkit if you don't want, nobody is forced to use it. You can just contact the creator to sort it out, he has your info from Kickstarter anyway.

Nice take on Mucha with that tuck image.
Calaveras will probably look very different with this recolouring. Rather than simply reversing it all, which wouldn't really work for the skeletons, he's adding another element - a third colour. From graphic black and white to black, silver and gold. Very elegant.

Even though you did not back Arcana, the backer kit is still open to all...I also did not back Arcana at the time, but was able to order off of the backer kit

Especially not these. The Calaveras are probably the best skeleton themed deck out there, so this is a no-brainer for me once available. MUST. HAVE.

Was tempted to pre-order through Backerkit, but it does state these are "exclusive for backers of Arcana" so I didn't want to be "that guy"..

Despite loving macbre and creepy decks, I'm totally NOT a skeleton guy, but these are so well done and almost comical at times. I'm so torn! That price isn't helping deter me either.

I've regretted a few things in my life. Even had buyers remorse a time or two for decks I bought that weren't quite "all that."

However. The only regrets I've had with regard to Chris Ovdiyenko's decks is that I didn't buy *more* than I did.

Totally should have picked up more Oracles.

Still kicking myself over that.

Have to agree, anything by Chris O is sterling. Creativity, artistic skills, attention to detail and flawless follow through, he has it all. Can't remember a single snafu on his campaigns.

FYI, backerkit lockdown is on the 19th. Too soon though. Not sure if I have enough funds for all the add-ons I want.

Almost always I see skulls and run. But I find these to be grateful dead type design. Might bite at these but I'm doing Randy, a Jackson and a couple others, trying to slow down a bit, my collection is getting out of hand, you ever find cards you forgot you bought. I was cleaning my car out the other day and I found three decks I completely forgot about. I only want to buy those that really pique my interest, these are close.

Well, I ended up being "that guy" and ordered a few decks of these. They showed up yesterday and I have been doing a happy dance ever since. Beautiful deck, and the theme was right up my alley.

Plus, skeletons.

Got my Midnight Calaveras decks today. Really loving the tuck. Registration on the card backs is disappointing, though. Horizontal registration is not perfect but acceptable. Vertical registration sucks.
