Never underestimate the stupidity of people in groups of one or more...

I had a hacker friend a number of years back. She conducted a social experiment that consisted of a virus she wrote that placed an icon on the desktop with the title "Warning! Do not open this! It is a virus! Delete!" She had infected nearly a million computers in a month. The virus flashed a full screen image that said "Your an idiot. Why would you launch a virus?" and then deleted itself.

As for the project, I pledged, wrote a comment, cancelled and then reported the campaign.

The audacity of this scam amazes me. The numbers right now are 105 backers for $6339. That would be an average of $60 per backer! Geez, I already reported it for misrepresentation but, this suspicious funding is ridiculous.

The jerk obviously has pledged from another account to secure funding so that even if some backers cancel, he will still be able to steal some others' money.

Seems like he's created at least 2 fake accounts, of which who knows how much he pledged from each, to create false misrepresentation and post fake comments!
