Tom, You are awesome man! You've been there all along and I remember some of the great conversations we've had along the way. I'm simply amazed that I've been able to thrive in this industry, but it wouldn't have been possible without your support and the support of the rest of the community. I will always remember that. It's crazy that you akin my decks to the Black Tiger and starting an era. That blows my mind. I was just trying to make cool cards we'd all enjoyMagikFingerz wrote:Very glad that you're back, Lance! Your Actuators are among the most prized possessions of my collection, not only because of the amazing art, use of colors and customization, but also for the sentimental value. Just like Ellusionist's Black Tigers started the era of modern custom playing cards, the Actuators started the age of Kickstarter in the collectible playing card community. You were also among the first designers to come here and share your progress and seek feedback directly from us.
Can't wait to see what you have in store for us, and everything you create in the future
Mike, I'm honored to be part of your collection. That number 7 is a rare uncut indeed. Thanks for your comment on my wife and I. As you've no doubt discovered, we're the same people online as we are in person. We're genuinely excited to meet those who want to connect and we love hanging out and talking cards and art.Mike Ratledge wrote:My most prized possession of contemporary card art is Artist's Edition Actuators signed uncut lucky #7!
Lance & I were sitting beside each other for the last day of the 52+Joker convention sales floor this year, and he & Amber are truly a first class dynamic duo! I can't wait to see what's next from Lance, and we can be sure we will all be itching for the starting gun...
Thanks Eoghann! Hopefully you got signed up alright. I'm not sure if I can tell which one you are, but feel free to PM me to confirm, or just post here and let me know you got your invite.Eoghann wrote:Well count me in too!
Indeed. I would be nothing without the Walrus.walrus wrote:Lance I'll pipe in and say glad you are back. You know you owe most of your success to me

Congratulations, Lance. You deserve it

I'm a corporate trainer myself - never thought I'd enjoy it but life surprises you sometimes.
Good luck - it'll make whenever you do decide to design something new that much sweeter...
OK, the jig is up as they say. It's April Fool's and there was a much more epic response to this post on my facebook than anywhere else. I love you guys, I'm not going anywhere. Brace yourselves, new decks are coming soon!RandyButterfield wrote:Congrats Lance!!
Just from the short time talking and hanging out with you in Charleston last year, it's easy to tell that you'll be on of the rare Teachers that inspires and motivates their Students. Very cool!
thanks, Randy

Thanks Shermjack, I really appreciate that. I remember once upon a time I was called out on here for one of my court cards seeming to similar to a past project. I have totally re-invented my style for this project and do hope that everyone is excited about it as I am.shermjack wrote: Definitely looking to pick up some of these as your designs never seem yo disappoint! Look forward to the release date!
