I had no idea that there was an option to get COLOR-GILDED decks! That's so cool- I never heard of that before. I'm sure this isn't a first but I'm still excited. Let's get these bad Larry's unlocked!

Re: Regal from John Powell -- LIVE on KS
Those are going to be expensive.
Btw I know there is a stretch goal for mini decks and I just want to say I hope they turn out better than the Chibi I got the other day, it was horribly off centered. Anyone else have this problem?

Not necessarily. Gilt with 23.5k gold leaf or .999 fine ("sterling") silver by hand, sure.jerichoholic wrote:Those are going to be expensive.
It won't be free, of course.

Holy schnikes, those look great! I think the next Annual 2016 UC deck has to have green foiled gilding!

Hey Alyoola, just wondering if you have a price range for the gilded decks. Adding the coin set today and just seeing what I need to put up for the gilded set.
For verification, I'm just asking. Please don't feel in any way obligated to answer. I can wait. I was just wondering.

Re: Regal from John Powell -- LIVE on KS
As much as I would LOVE to see that (I was just about to "+1" your post) that would totally deviate from the plan... idea... hope? that the '16 UC decks will go back to being moderately priced for us members. However a LE version with green gilding would be B.A.sinjin7 wrote:Holy schnikes, those look great! I think the next Annual 2016 UC deck has to have green foiled gilding!

Re: Regal from John Powell -- LIVE on KS
Hello Guys,
Thanks for appreciating our new concept of matching guilded decks. We will release the pricing just before the launch time otherwise backers will start upgrading pledges and it will be difficult to track since these will be limited as well
For the mini decks since Ultimate Universe chibi decks had very thin border so it became really difficult to control cutting of such small decks.
This time for Regal mini decks we have added a border so that cutting could be far better than Ultimate Universe...
Thanks
Eddie

Gamblers - Your video could be a bit longer. They say 2 mins is max. Having a skinny asian girl spin the cards around was good. Daddy like, but show me a fan please. I think all videos should have at least the fan or a double fan in the introduction. We want to see the fan with the skinny asian girl you know it.
Your ten card seems a bit off center. The ten card is hard. It's the only card that has 2 symbols for the rank of the card. That is really my only bitch. Showing 2 keys on the chip reminds me of the popes. Where are the 3 crowns? Scroll down 6 pages to see. Why keys?

Hmm, I wonder how much for all four glided decks? I want (though I haven't pledged yet).

Re: Regal from John Powell -- LIVE on KS
From KS update:
The cards are obviously amazing and that box looks B.A.! But I'm sure these will be an arm and a leg...
We will be unlocking the extremely limited gilded 4 deck set tomorrow (April 1st) at 12PM Central.
Your 4 deck gilded REGAL box set will come placed inside of a beautiful piano-finish wooden box with a signed & numbered certificate from the artist, John Powell.
Only 60 of these box sets will be made and only 50 are up for grabs in this project.
We will be doing two releases (25 sets available in each release) of this box set to give backers a bit more of an opportunity at a chance of getting a set. First pledge tier (25 sets) will open April 1st at 12PM Central.
The second tier (25 more sets) will then open April 3rd at 12PM Central. These will only be available in pledge tiers and not as an add-on.

Re: Regal from John Powell -- LIVE on KS (wap)
I'd definitely like to get the set but I'm thinking they'll cost an arm, a leg, and maybe a kidney.

Not that the time bothers me much, but shouldn't the two releases be at different times to accommodate as many people in as many time zones as possible?

You definitely have a valid point. Maybe do 1 at 12pm central and 1 at 12am central.MagikFingerz wrote:Not that the time bothers me much, but shouldn't the two releases be at different times to accommodate as many people in as many time zones as possible?

I didn't see the tier, I arrived "on time" unless there's a delay.

It was posted about 12:04p or 12:05p. $150 was too rich for my blood. If I could have gotten just the decks without the box, I would have pulled the trigger.Bikefanatic wrote:I didn't see the tier, I arrived "on time" unless there's a delay.

Usually I pounce but this time I can live without the gilded decks. The renders look like they'll be pretty cool though. I think they'll be pretty sharp. Very cool pick up to those that snagged some.
TL:DR It's completely up to you.

Agree. Why a mandatory box? This only increase the price of the set and many of us don't want the box. I jumped on a gilded set by habits, but now that I can think about it, maybe I will drop it.
Until recently, I didn't know the price of a gilded deck printed by LPCC, but Leonardo had one for $20. So it is a lot of money for an unwanted box! Of course Leonardo wasn't as limited as the Regal, but that is only artificial rarity, created on purpose (and not, like Lotrek, Lorenzo or Uusi because of manual production). I know everybody do the same thing, but I think it begins to be irritating.
I'm still thinking (if I drop it, it will not be in the last seconds of the campaign...). Congrats for those who get a gilded set and are happy with it!
I like the mini-decks and they are reasonably priced.

I don't know a mini deck is like a "Fluff" item. Fluff items being: Uncut sheets, coins, wooden boxes, and ect....

I was hoping someone would drop their gilded deck set pledge but nobody didn't. In the future when a time is announced, I'll just stick around for ten minutes.
